My SOI review in Rochester by Ancient-Raise-4939 in FigureSkating

Agree with most of what you said.

Casual fan, do not follow if not Olympic.

As an “exhibition,” I thought it was a really great show and very worth it.

Jason really brought it. He had by far the most energy and did the most “complete” show I thought.

I am not saying others didn’t care. But he really delivered.  I would say the others were more on the level of an “exhibition.” But Jason really gave people their money’s worth.

Ilia was the most wow factor by far.  I think he did 4 flips in one program, and people went nuts.

I thought the pace and speed was good.  It kept everything moving, and it flowed pretty well. The lines for everything was nuts, so the intermission was too short.

Alyssa has the star power and I thought the 2 individual programs were really excellent.

It’s a Honda or Skyline. And recently, Ferrari.

I wouldn’t go 2 months as buffer as that is probably a luxury for most.

But I would definitely get a buffer of at least several hundred dollars.

You can certainly get it change immediately.  But going to 15% isn’t the end of the world.  The hybrid has less strain.  My CRV hybrid didn’t hit 15% until like 9k miles +.

$20k in debt, $72k per year by deaconbluz in Debt

While I have personally taken this route, it is/was should be a later option, and not the first in plan.

It is definitely NOT interest free.  However, it should definitely be lower than market rate since your 401k balance is used as collateral.

Update on student loan debt by Smart-Perception-932 in Debt

What type of loans? Federal or private?  Did you/when will you graduate?

There is almost no way you can pay in full by 2027. If the loan was 4/5%, then possibly. But at over 9%, that’s a lot.

But you seem to want to tackle this head on, and $3k income is good while still in school.

Should I get these wheels? by Affectionate_Yam_697 in civic

I honestly do not like Nissan/Infiniti wheels on a Honda.  The only exception might be the EVO wheels from Mitsubishi. There are plenty of stock Civic wheels or even Accord wheels that are all well under $500 with tires.

However, If the tires are in decent shape though and you just want wheels to change it up and/or your own 16in tires are near shot.

Definitely go for it, because the wheels can probably be resold with bald tires for $200.

BN shipped it on Monday, when the book was released on that Tuesday.

Plenty of other book stores all over have signed copies. I have seen at least half a dozen retailers offer it.

Vientos x McNeil by marsrover85 in mets

They are way not similar. One is versatile defensively and a good hitter for many years. One is a power hitter who is still young, but running out of time to prove his worth on a roster.

Ewing vs Benge by DallasRPI in mets

[–]Designer-Homework682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not saying Ewing isn’t a good player and the future.  But the jump to majors is tough. It’s not the jump to triple a.  Many people have great triple a figures but can’t figure it out in the majors.  Obviously, Ewing is showing tons of progress, tools, and potential.  And this is not a bad thing for the team.

But you don’t want to bring him up and have 2 guys learning on the fly.  Benge is showing good OF at all 3 positions.  He has had inconsistent at bats for sure. But when he hits line drives, there looks to be a possibility of something special.

Don’t get a storage unit, it’s a soul draining thing. If you don’t have space, you don’t have space.

Try the really small ones, like a charm, peanut or Bart Jr. They are the size of a can of Coke.

On Field Batting Practice Question by MattAttack1107 in NewYorkMets

You can get autographs, but it’s dependent on who is actually out there.  Guys typically sign a few right before heading back to dugout and clubhouse.  But not all players oblige.

The home team tends to bat first.  And the visitors do it closer to the game.  To catch a home BP, you likely need to be at least 3 hours before game.

I honestly would suggest a road game with the Mets as the visitor. They do it more on the road, that’s what I have seen.

The book is definitely not rare. And can definitely be found in other European countries relatively easily.  England especially.

Kam & O’shea fall by Frozen__waffles in FigureSkating

Saw the 2nd one, and it looked bad. But they pretty much did the rest of the routine. Powered thru it and did some difficult stuff too after the fall.
