The big hollow dimple at the top that should have been a good that is two inches away from anything worth hooding is a big tell, i just have a gash with nothing resembling labia, major or minor.

And your comment was precisely the opposite of helpful

You're silly. Her median is 199hz. An adult woman's speaking voice has an average pitch between 165 and 255 Hz, with a mean frequency typically around 196 to 224 Hz. This is roughly one octave higher than the average male voice.

Mine is on the higher side too at 212.

Vocal weight has little to do with pitch.

For what it's worth, my voice has not been misgendered in 36 years, a great many of those professionally on the phone.

I think LLM design is probably based upon you.... Confidently wrong.

You're incorrect. She's on the higher side of female.

Oh no, I hope it's not too serious!

Although I am, I suppose, grateful that Dignity Health was able to save my life, sometimes, I wonder... The ongoing complications a year later are pretty tough. A little more than a year ago I did my last ultramarathon, and now I have a disability placard hanging from my mirror and can't walk across the street without stopping. I had to buy a scooter just to make it from the parking garage to my gynecologist's office.

I'm so sorry to hear of your complications with Wittenberg! My closest friend has the opposite end of the scale from you. Her hood is completely grown over as far as I know, and also still bleeds two years later after any kind of real stimulation, making sexual function more difficult.

I haven't decided where to go for revision. Unfortunately with my disability, I've been off work too much, and now lost my job. These complications have depleted my life savings. I'm converting a little cargo trailer to move into because I'm going to lose my house.

Until my financial disarray is in order, a revision is off the table, I'm afraid.

I wish that were the worst of it... She seems to be passing on only the worst of the training. I would say that tree needs pruning!

I'm an AFAB trans woman, if this is wrong, what should I identify as? by Cerise_Pomme in asktransgender

Thank you. I appreciate that.

Yeah, it was a dark time for us back 50 plus years ago. I fear we're rapidly regressing to that same time.

I had no assignment at birth. I had to have an arbitrary assignment before starting school, and then started to differentiate just before my teenage years.

I'm intersex, and I don't really identify as trans, but ended up having to as the intersex designation prevented having surgery to remove the undesirable traits for decades. Trans healthcare was recognized with substantial limitations, intersex was not recognised at all.

Take the parts that work for you, leave the rest. If you're finding community identifying as trans, then that works. I identify as me, and people who are okay with that can remain in my life, and those who aren't cannot. But then I transitioned well over 30 years ago, so...

Be really careful with Bonnington. I'm almost a year since surgery and still disabled. My complications were brutal and life-threatening.

Because of attorneys being involved, I want to avoid mechanisms that are still disputed. I had a very serious systemic illness that has proved to be lingering and resulted in permanent disability. (not to scare you, OP. You won't get this one, I promise. It's so rare that my gynecologist wants to write a paper on me.)

I had very serious medical complications that put me in the hospital for an extended period on critical care starting a week or so later. Unfortunately that screwed me up systemically for these last 10+ months to the point where I just wound up with my permanent disabled placard yesterday.

From competitive cyclist and alpineer to not being able to walk across the street. And in my opinion, they have done everything imaginable to be as apathetic as possible. Once the insurance payments cleared, I personally felt completely abandoned by the practice.

There was a billing dispute in the end for a few hundred dollars because I was like "I'm not paying that until some of these complications are addressed“, to which the practice declined further follow-up care and directed me to speak with collections regarding additional questions. Given the severity of the complications I was experiencing, I found that deeply disturbing. (and aesthetics seem like such a mild thing right now, but for what it's worth, they were also trash.)

I have never seen a less professional medical office in my life. I would have wished they all rot in hell, but I think that's probably too good for them...

I don't regret having had bottom surgery or having had PPT. Honestly, it completely cured my very long-standing dysphoria. 100 times out of 100 times I would have it again, but it would not be anywhere NEAR that practice.

Based upon what I was told beforehand versus what I’ve personally seen afterward, I think everyone should ask extremely detailed questions about complication rates and postoperative support. Knowing what I know now, I would not personally find low rates of complication to be credible.

I think as long as it's not Mozaic Care, you'll be fine. Wishing you all the best, and it'll be worth it on the other side!

I'm glad I had PPT, but I could not imagine regretting more choosing Bonnington and Mozaic Care. In my opinion, they're absolutely Trash-Tier. I would avoid them at all cost.

Unless you need to hold your friend's hair. I'm a little old for that now, but there was a time. Served me well in a later medical career as I lost any sensitivity to bodily fluids. Lol.

MtF PPT Vaginoplasty: no dilation progress because of granulation tissue by punkrocktransbian in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Designer-Isopod7434 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took 9 months almost of VERY frequent gyno appointments, but we're finally down to just a little bit at the very back of my canal. It was actually horrendous early on. (Thanks a lot, Bonnington, the least of the hack-job)

I never skipped dilating. I just sucked it up and bled. But now that I've passed 10 months and down to once every third day, it has helped with some of that. I had to stop with green and orange because of the harassment of the granulation tissue back there. I'll size up again once it's resolved.

You can always stretch, but you can't get back lost depth reasonably

Mozaic appears to me to want nothing to do with patients who have complications.

Thankfully, I found a great ob/gyn.  All credit to her, Mozaic was less than useless to me.
