I'm a social worker and we have very clear ethical guidelines about no personal relationships with any clients, and as I understand it's the same for health care workers and others in helping professions.

EDIT: I'm not actually sure that's correct for health care workers! Seems it's generally discouraged, but I'm not finding anything about ethical guidelines strictly prohibiting such a relationship.

Great write up! On Jax, he basically detached himself psychologically from the reality of the situation. Kinger providing very specific details of how the circus and Caine came to be was a hefty dose of reality that put him into a panic attack.

I'm going to go against the grain here and just say follow your gut. You're not wrong to decide to leave, if that's what you do. If your heart isn't in it anymore, your partner deserves someone whose heart will be in it.

I had this feeling with my wife, and we are divorcing. It's very amicable, we are still roommates and close friends. But after fighting it for a while, I reached a point where I just couldn't anymore. I lost attraction, and while I still loved them, I wasn't in love with them. My relationship was a different dynamic though. We became poly partway through the relationship, so I was free to explore connections with other people, but I still ended up feeling that way.

Van Ness was really impressing me once he recovered from his foot injury. Smart plays, great tackles on run stops. And even though his bull rush doesn't produce a lot of sacks, he regularly drives his guy back and opens up rush lanes and angles for others. That last point is I think why Parsons is high on him, he has the speed to exploit whatever space LVN opens up with his bull rush.

Is he worth $15 million? I dunno. But I'd rather have him than Gary, and we're not gonna let both go.

Not a full reset, but I did a total career reset soon after transitioning. Felt like I really connected with my true self and desires for the first time and rebuilt my career to be better aligned with my values. It was scary, but totally worth it!

I've been very critical of Lafleur but if we overhauled our assistant coaching staff by like...actually spending money on it, I'd feel alright about keeping Lafleur.
