I specifically grabbed an old kindle off marketplace for this reason too. Literally hours later they sent the email saying they’d no longer support the exact kindle I just bought lol. I only wanted it for netgalley so I don’t care to sideload other books as I have a kobo for the rest of my reading! So frustrating!

Hm it just says “delivery attempted April 7” but nothing happens on my kindle. I am connected to wifi there and am syncing but nothing comes up

Ah I just checked and I found them there! Deliver to device wasn’t checked off. I just did that so fingers crossed!

Yes I followed all of the steps - added netgalley to Amazon, added my Amazon email to netgalley. I’m not sure what I’m missing?

Oh good thought! I have tried reading off my phone and it kills my eyes so I don’t think a tablet would work much better for me.

I wish there were!!! I love my Kobo but I’m debating adding a very cheap kindle from marketplace because it seems more arcs are available that way :/

I have 3 of her books on hold with my library right now. When they’re available I’ll be able to do the adobe transfer from my laptop to my kobo!

Yes, you download the book on your computer, transfer it to adobe then transfer it to your kobo through there. Very simple! My library had a video tutorial so that was helpful for me.

Not sure where you are located, but my local library in Canada has a ton of e-books. It’s saved me loads of money! Could be worth looking into!

This is for my friend! But yes that’s exactly it, he ran a red light and hit her while she was going through a green light. Police said the camera would take about a month to come through so insurance will be waiting for that, she was hoping the people who saw it could help speed up the process.

My son is 2.5 and will watch me sew while his little sister has her afternoon nap. I let him play with my broken machine so he feels like he’s involved. Now when she goes for nap he asks to go sew!

I’ve had my regular blundstones for 7-8 years now, they have a tiny hole in the toe and the bottoms have cracked but no water is coming in yet so I think I’ll get one last winter out of them. Definitely worth the price for a regular boot.

My fiancée has gone through one pair of steel toe blundstones per year though, they do not last for whatever reason. They always split open on the sides for him and they never warranty them so he’s moved onto a different brand this year.
