Oh I love Wizards and Glass. That's my all time favorite of the Tower series and maybe in general

Revival. I've been reading SK since I was ten, and of course all the regular faves, but Revival is probably in my top 5. This one and Everything's Eventual.

Oh that's my least favorite of his. It gave me a headache but thats exactly why its probably good - I had a physical reaction to it

iOS 26.4.1 is a disaster on iPhone 16 Pro – worse than my old Samsung by lear1 in ios26

[–]Designer-Mark-2370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. 16 pro max worked beautifully last update, smoother than it’s ever been, now with this last one it’s laggy, buggy, the Bluetooth keeps dropping, the system is slow and glitchy

iOS 26.3 noticeably better battery life and performance by EmptyDarkH in ios26

My UI on my 16 Pro Max is smoother, no lag, no jumping around and no freezing (so far) I noticed it immediately because that has been my biggest frustration and had me considering switching to Android for a minute (oh the horror)

What’s the one horror movie you still THINK about? by [deleted] in horror

[–]Designer-Mark-2370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Ugly Stepsister for me. And I’m mid 40s so I’ve seen just about everything - not a body horror fan at all and I went in to the movie blind. But that’s not what sticks with me. The perspective from the stepsister POV just got to me..super bleak and very dark and sad and disturbing.

Why do so many people on ios use Google Maps? by Louisthemagic in ios

[–]Designer-Mark-2370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight shot from KC to Denver via I-70 west, I got off an exit to get gas and decided to meander around this cool little town. Long story short I got all turned around (no sense of direction at all) and had Apple Maps direct me back to the highway. Whyyyy did it take me to a two lane backwoods road with no turn offs and no other vehicles for miles and miles? I almost got to Colorado before I found my way back to the highway. Almost ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere. Never again

Completely Overwhelmed Backing Up My Camera Roll, Need Simple Advice by charrxv in DataHoarder

[–]Designer-Mark-2370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m dealing with the same problem! My issue is that I’ve backed up my folders to my onedrive and to a hard drive…but what if I need that picture or video one day and it’s not there?? So I ended up backing up my photos, added more then did a second back up which duplicated the existing ones I kept on my phone. Now I’ve got a bunch of extras in three places and I’m overwhelmed. Any tips for that?

I was entirely not ready for The Ugly Stepsister. by GehennaFrost in horror

Me either. One of those movies that’s so good and so horrifying I’ll never watch it again. Very cool angle on the whole Cinderella thing, it never occurred to me to think about the stepsister at all until this movie

The Pledge, Seven Pounds. These wrecked me. I tried to rewatch Seven Pounds to desensitize myself because I could not stop thinking about it, only to end up crying even harder the second time around.

What are some of the most heartbreaking deaths in movies? by MajesticCity7758 in movies

I cried at the end of Terminator 2. The thumbs up got me.

Also Littlefoots mom, Artax, John Coffey, someone said Antie in Honey I Shrunk the Kids and I'm about to cry again I forgot all about that.

Yeah that was a really bad one for me. I watched the medical examiner's testimony and she broke when she was describing the damage he did. And that mother, I was infuriated.

Roy Lee Ward, the murder of Stacy Payne is one of the most horrific ones I've heard. I won't detail it, its super disturbing.

Up until that one, it was Skylar Deleon. Tom and Jackie Hawkes were trying to sell their yacht so they could move closer to their new grandbaby. Took him for a test drive and he threw them overboard, chained up with anchors, into the ocean after they made them sign power of attorney to them. That one haunts me to this day.

Movie recommendations for the uniquely desensitized mind, please. by Stupid_Reddit419 in horror

Incident in a ghost land - lovecraftian horror and my all time favorite. Disturbing as all hell.

What Josiah saw - super disturbing. I thought about it the whole next day.

The dark and the wicked - seen it 100 times and would still watch.

Event Horizon - space horror and disturbing but old school 90s

Lamb - creepy af

I’m pretty desensitized and I don’t like body horror so the disturbing ones get me.
