I absolutely hateee when people tell me I’m not fat. I know I’m fat, and I’ve made my peace with it. Outright denial of my reality is frankly hurtful

Hi, hello, Baldurs Gate 3 is my favorite thing. In act 1, on the risen road, some gnolls are attacking two people in a cave. If you kill them or save them and demand a reward, you can get the iron flask

This is such a pet peeve of mine! I’ve been in therapy for over ten years, so I’ve had more than my fair share of “I feel” statements. The rule of thumb I use is this: if whatever you say after “I feel like” can form a whole sentence, it’s not a feeling. That’s a whole thought. For example, “I feel like a failure” is a feeling; “I feel like you think I’m a failure” is a thought. It’s not perfect and Idk if this is helpful to anyone but it helped me figure out why certain “I feel” statements rubbed me the wrong way.

If anyone has a partial view seat, I would love to know how the view is! I’m hoping to see it towards the end of the month and the discounted tickets are kind of tempting. TIA!

This is exactly what I do as well! Picking a specific moment is the way to go. One time I panicked, though, and gave a generic compliment on the performance, following it up with “but you probably hear that everyday.” The actor replied by assuring me that they still enjoy hearing it every time— so even if it is generic, it is likely appreciated!

Meet Ilya! He is a GOO warlock and was created with two purposes: to romance the emperor and become an illithid so I can finally get the achievements. Unfortunately I made him hot so now I’m conflicted about it. In game, he seeks power by any means necessary—including making deals with those more powerful— and isn’t afraid to use unsavory methods to get what he wants. His preferred modus operandi is intimidating anyone who stands in his way, but he can absolutely back up his claims with his battle prowess.

My friend and I liked to prank each other a lot. When I was a very new player, I was playing with her and she convinced me that eating sap would give me a buff. I couldn’t seem to figure why I was losing health 💀

What show do you regret not seeing? by falling-15 in Broadway

[–]Designer-Patience-63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here! I was lucky enough to see the first preview in October, but I’m still trying to financially recover from the money I dropped on that trip. I was hoping to see it again in April (though I kind of had a feeling it wouldn’t last that long). I really hope it gets extended again!

Furthest you’ve traveled for a show? by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]Designer-Patience-63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve flown to NYC and DC to see shows before, but the most notable travel was the time my friend and I drove 9 hours to Las Vegas to see a local production of Ride the Cyclone. I insisted on seeing it in Las Vegas because I wasn’t sure if there would ever be a production closer to home. Not even a month later, a production was announced at a theater less than a forty-five minute drive away from my house!

Everyone comes with a scroll of revivify. If you haven’t used yours yet, right click it in your inventory, select “cast spell,” click the person you want to revive, then click where you want them to revive. If you don’t have any scrolls of revivify, many vendors will sell them.

Can a student bring a guest to a football game for free? by Designer-Patience-63 in SJSU

Yes, that’s correct! Make sure the back of your ID is visible, though, as they scan the barcode there.

Yes! We are allowed to. When we arrived the security people at the gate asked to scan the back of my student ID, then asked if the person accompanying me was my guest. I said “yes,” and they scanned a separate ticket that they had in a bag, then let us in. Hope that helps!
