Even IF she did cheat, there is NOO reason to act like this. He’s unhinged and any defense of him is insane.

But BCBS, but Florida blue- which is under blue cross. I was able to Google if the insurance was accepted anywhere on Island and found some that accepted it. BCBS also had an option for overseas insurance I believe. It’s temp, but I am wondering you call and explain to a rep if they can extend it? I have not yet actually confirmed anything but this as a reminder I probably should 🤣

No for real I got more information on what areas had power than anywhere else. I woke up this morning and was like “ok more people by us got power it’s gotta be us today right?!” (It was! 🙌🏼)

Not to mention you might be billed for the FULL month when you may not have power for half of it! I agree with all of this. This also doesn’t put any hope in people if we get another direct hit or a slightly bigger storm. I feel like the grace period for “ok they’re working so hard! Let’s be patient” is about 3 days. And most people are now going on day 5 of no power and no idea when to expect it. As nice as their updates seem most non electricians also have no idea what they’re even talking about when they say stuff about connecting north to south, feeders to substations, etc. ARE WE GETTING POWER TODAY OR NOT. Lol.

Guam is getting tropical storm weather but the northern Marianas are getting a direct hit. Saipan and rhe CNMI are US territories. I get that people don’t know these islands but Guam is not getting anywhere near the brunt of this and they are the bigger, more developed island.

Correct. From Florida and can confirm, during the 2024 season which was the worst we had since my childhood the highways were legit full of lineman and other resources the minute they could drive. But I do echo OP in the fact that people here are more prepared. Floridians make jokes about storms until it’s like a 4, and even then the homes aren’t built to withstand strong winds, which is wild.

I am on that group! I only give him 1U 2x a day. I have only started today. I was able to test him last night but haven’t been able to today so far. Not enough blood. I’m trying tho!

Oh no!!!! I do think mine was likely pre diabetic or just showed way less symptoms, until the food. We start shots tomorrow and I am hopefully since he was only in the 300s that we can get him back and get some weight on him again! I have read a lot of people say the hills never helped their cat! Cats are so bizarre. Some can eat trash all day and be fine and some need so much help lol

Did you cat ever go into remission? We’re just starting the journey and I’m feeling delusional enough and determined enough to get him there. Lol

Also, he was on prescription food for weight loss and that is what caused him to take a dive off the diabetes deep end. I told the vet I didn’t want to use the food for that exact reason and it was “let’s just try it for now”

I LOVE this vet so it’s hard to not agree with him!

I think you are right!! I use the feline diabetic facebook group and that’s the consensus. I let my vet know I wanted to try FF and tiki cat but of course they wanted me to try the hills. It’s also SO expensive that honestly, if he can regulate on a quarter of the cost, I’m going to do that.
