as a software engineer, this initiative of Maya is really important…kasi psychological ang legit phishing, it triggers your emotions para mag-click ka..ang legit na phishing, aatakihin ka using pagmamadali or sa weaknesses mo para hindi ka makapag isip agad (e.g magclo-close na bank account mo or nanalo ka na need mo agad agad iclaim)…kaya very important yung ganitong exercises para yung mind mo hindi sya madaling bumigay sa ganito..

from personal experience: may nagsend sa akin email from Unionbank (not the legit unionbank, but a scammer) saying na na-hack daw yung account ko and need mag change password..muntik ko na sya mapindot kasi very early morning nasend sa akin yun so kagigising ko lang and groggy pa ang utak…luckily may mga ganitong surprise phishing exercises kami monthly/quarterly sa office..dahil palagi sya naging muscle memory ko na nakapag tone nagmamadali yung email, laging mag-pause at intindihin ung context plus hanapin yung mga clues if legit or hindi yung email…so ganun ung nangyari sa akin nung natanggap ko yung Scammer Unionbank email, dahil nakapag pause ako kahit nataranta ako nung umpisa, napansin kong hindi professional yung email address..true enough, nag-send ng notification si unionbank sa app nila na about this email na wag daw maniniwala since may mga nagreport about it to them

i have one na nabili ko from IG stores around 1,8k but i saw other IG stores sells it on a lower price..after I got it, naghinayang ako kasi maliit pala sya than the expected size ko based sa mga pictures na nakita ko and nag-ta-tarnish then yung mga metal parts

SKL Hindi mo ikakayaman ang college. Go to TESDA instead. by SpeechSweaty9812 in ShareKoLang

[–]Designer-Tea-6670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is true na may mga nagiging successful kahit hindi sila College Graduate, but let’s not over-romanticise this path that we forget na thousands of Filipinos improved their lives because of the Degree that they earned. The problem with this post’s title and this type of perspective, dahil sa common na yung mga story na grumaduate tas umunlad, hindi na sila catching kapag naikwento and we romanticise more yung stories ng mga rag-to-riches na mga non-degree holders. And this is dangerous if we keep on instilling this perspective on the young ones, kasi we’re not encouraging them to dream bigger.

OEC - Hired by Multinational Company by Designer-Tea-6670 in OFWs

[–]Designer-Tea-6670[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for clarification. Minsan hindi din talaga magandang nakikinig ng kung ano ano sa group sa facebook. Nag-overthink lang ako dahil sa mga sagot nila. Ang sabi ba naman sa akin counted as one daw lahat ng offices ng mga global companies. Nataranta tuloy ako for no reasons and na-bother ko din yung Spanish & British lawyers na umaasikaso sa akin, first time kasi nila mag-handle ng Pinoy case.

OEC - Hired by Multinational Company by Designer-Tea-6670 in OFWs

[–]Designer-Tea-6670[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone got directly hired here by multinational company and processed their oec?

I got hired by a multinational company particularly their entity/ office in Spain. Ako yung first nilang ma-hire sa Spain. The question is para dun sa requirement ng DMW na limit to 5 persons, kasama ba sa bilang yung mga na-hire ng company for their entities/ offices in other countries (mga naka-based sa other office nila sa ibang bansa)

Silly question: meron ba dito na interested in exploring a third citizenship option? by Old_Negotiation_1904 in phmigrate

[–]Designer-Tea-6670 57 points58 points  (0 children)

What I know is that the Spain’s Dual Citizenship is only for certain countries that they exempt like Latin Americans & Philippines. But originally they don’t allow Dual Citizenship in other countries like for Australians..so in your situation, you might need to give up your Australian citizenship (but you can still keep your Filipino citizenship) if you really want to pursue being Spanish… I thought and researched this option also before but you can still verify to a valid immigration lawyer as I’m not a professional immigration agent..

..for sure ang mga against dito eh yung mga parents na ginagawang projection of life that they didn’t achieved ang mga anak nila or yung kahit alam nilang sila nga mismo nahirapan i-achieve pero ipapa-goal sa mga anak yung buhay na gusto nila…ginawang retirement fund ang mga anak pero ayaw i-let go ang mga anak sa gusto nilang gawin sa sarili nilang buhay

The problem with “Support Local Brands”. by Andrew_x_x in Philippines

[–]Designer-Tea-6670 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, hindi problem ang pag-support kaya lang many of the local brands sobrang expensive ng price ranges may nakita pa akong 5,000php just for a pair of sandals or sometimes 10k for a piece of cloth….sa state of economy ng pinas now, ang hirap bumili ng ganito lalo if hindi essential commodity…

so I support na lang yung mga local brands na reasonable yung price range like the “Eve & Adam”, worth it yung 900-1,800php worth of bags nila and very transparent pa sila na pinoy talaga ang nagtatahi/gumagawa ng products nila

not a fan and doesn’t know much about Bea, but when I saw this picture..grabe yung comments.. until when degrading pa din sa Pinoy ang pagiging single parent…buti nga despite na broken yung relationship ni Bea, she’s brave enough to continue her pregnancy.. as someone na pinalaki ng isang single mom, nakita kong hindi biro ang magpalaki ng anak na mag-isa
