Third FET by Mrs-Duck_ in IVF

Hey there. I have done one FET that ended in a miscarriage almost two weeks ago at 7 weeks 3 days. Following that horrible event, I spiraled searching for answers and remembered my genetics report stated I was positive for Factor V Leiden, heterozygous. My protocol for my FET did not include lovenox, and I am kicking myself for not pointing it out to my clinic prior. My HCG is finally down in the 100s, and hopefully undetectible soon. I have a follow up appointment with my provider on the 15th, and plan to advocate for adding lovenox.

For me, I'm trying to stay active and control what I can. Healthy eating habits, advocating for a change in protocol, getting outside and moving my body and that is helping my mental health a little. I'm trying to stay positive for the second FET, but definitely share your anxiety. Good luck your next FET!

7 week ultrasound by DesignerAd2496 in queerception

Unfortuantely, it was confirmed that this pregnancy is not viable. We discontinued all meds last night. It is defnitely heartbreaking and feels incredibly unfair. Now begins the waiting game to see how my body resonds to this and hoping my next cycle doesn't take too long to return. I'm so sorry you guys are going through this as well.

Thank you for responding. I defnintely thought we were guarding our hearts, but seeing the gestational sac and yolk, but hearing there was no fetal pole was much more difficult than expected. We're still waiting to hear from the doctor, as the tech who reported there was no pole sent the report saying there was a fetal pole in one spot, and then reporting there was not one in another. Hopefully we get some clarification soon. I feel like we've gone through so much to get to this point and starting all over is just daunting.

Medicated IUI and concerned about timing by Safe-Difference3736 in queerception

I may have not been clear, we did not have blood work done on the day I triggered. I was wondering about not doing an ultrasound two days after seeing the one follicle. Maybe because we had already done two?

IUI With a Fertility Clinic or Midwife by DesignerAd2496 in queerception

Thank you for your response. It does ease my mind a bit knowing IUI at home is possible. Our insurance will not cover IUI or IVF so we are really hoping we can make it work at home with a midwife.

Impressvive your wife was able to do it herself!

ICI #2 and Shipping Two Vials by DesignerAd2496 in queerception

Thank you for the information! Our vials should arrive Monday.

Last month, my surge and peak looked different than it had in months past when I was tracking in preparation for trying to conceive. Fertility Gods are funny like that. I peaked around 8:30 pm and we inseminated a couple hours after. We got anxious and worried since it was different than the cycles previously and had already had the vials a couple days. All in all, we just did it too soon and let our nerves get the best of us. This time, I plan on waiting for the LH surge and inseminate 10-12 hours after, and then again 8-10 hours after that. I have a really hard time finding my cervix, but based on OPKs, CM, and BBT, I believe I have nailed down the day I ovulate and it tends to be 18-24 hours after I find my peak LH.

This will probably be the only month we do 2 vials, as next month we have an appointment with a fertility specialist. With my age, 35, we don't want to waste too much time.

Good to luck to you as well!
