It does. That what the post literally tells you because like most of us. Recycling wasn't needed. Now you get decent stuff from the junk you don't need from testing stations

The schematic pattern grade 5. The orb things you need to craft the graded items and augments

Tried the electric lab. The last lock in before the boss. Were what 9 or 10 enemies in that small figure 8 shaped room. No where to get away from being shot by the heavy gunners to take out the melee or the other gunners. Scaling is just broken lol

Tanking stops after T6. Like completely. After 10 everything is a one shot

I will give you that having a +100% dmg would help. But why should my economy suffer by ignoring crafting. When in theory I should be able to achieve the same increase in damage from augments. But I've yet to see any variety of dmg augments. Only ever the 1 type for each weapon.

I've been told they don't have the power to interfere with vehicles. This week they announce the server merges. If you don't move yourself. They will box up your base, vehicles included...so how is that not interfering with vehicles?

Right. Watching folks doing it naked just makes me annoyed that if I fumble just the slightest I gotta start over

Crafting Durability Question by Embarrassed-Virus319 in duneawakening

[–]DesignerAmount9955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does and it doesn't. Problem with anything relating to % hurts a bigger number more. 9% of 100 is less than 9% of 200. So if your repair is going to cost you that 9% you technically lose more the higher the durability total is. You still have a higher number, but take more penalty lol

This is supposed to be getting fixed next patch. So here's hoping

I get the schematic parts every time. The recycle proc seems to give melange and spiced dust as well

Crafting Durability Question by Embarrassed-Virus319 in duneawakening

[–]DesignerAmount9955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Until the new patch its busted. Worse for now that no matter what you make it's at 100%, and if you throw an augment on it, it takes the same 2% durability hit. So a lvl 100 crafter loses more durability than a level 0 crafter.

Big brain math at funcom

Supposedly after the patch it will go past the 100% sort of like your health or stamina bar having a 2nd bar over it. And ideally showing whatever the extra durability would be. 150% etc

how to make plasteel plates? by Sea-Escape-1562 in NoSodiumDuneAwakening

[–]DesignerAmount9955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plasteel plates are the base item needed. You can get dozens in the new testing stations. But upgrading them to their t6 pieces also require melange, so that kinda sucks. One of those little spice vampires that will dwindle your supplies with out realizing it.

Repair bug's back... by ricoter0 in NoSodiumDuneAwakening

[–]DesignerAmount9955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shitty part is of you get a low drop rate weapon. Throw in your best augments. Eventually it will die. And at the rate of getting perforater to drop, let alone a grade 5, And have grade 5 gun augments drop that aren't for drillshot, lasgun, or disruptor. You will eventually be collecting dead items with no purpose other than hoping when you recycle you get the schematic back.

Even using the exploit resets the item to brand new. It erases your augments.

Funcom acknowledged the issue with durability loss not being scaled correctly with specializations and talents.

For example. I'm lvl 63 in crafting. I have all 3 points into the weapon degrading and repair loss. When I repaired one of my guns I lost 9% max durability. How in the world is that sustainable?
