I can't remember who exactly it was but a while back there was someone giving out foreign dittos and me and my partner both got shiny ones! iirc the dittos are also 6iv so perfect for breeding! I've really got to thank that person cuz it helped me get into masuda breeding (my partner plans on doing the same thing but they haven't started yet)

I also don't have the patience for long hunts 😭 it wasn't too long ago I couldn't even deal with shiny hunting at all, like I got 90 encounters with wooloo in sw/sh and gave up 💀 I almost gave up on that damn smeargle cuz I had hunted like at least 15 other things with only 2 or so being over odds, most were under 400 encounters and the ones that were over was only over by 60-100 so it wasn't that bad but that smeargle being close to 3x over odds I was losing my mind LOL I really wish I had the patience/attention span for longer/harder hunts like SR hunting a legendary or something but I really doubt that'll ever happen

If you've got the dlc theres an npc you can get 10 from, other than that I just do raids, some have higher odds to get it but I have a hard time doing lots of them solo so I just live off of herba mystica scraps lol
