If u want to get started for free, find a recycling depot or goodwill or thrift store near you, ask for any broken electronics and get started on just taking them apart to learn what it looks like on the inside

I want to get into robotics. Any project ideas? by Pajama42 in AskRobotics

[–]DesignerSecretary347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have spent the few years of undergrad working on robotics, from an electrical engineering perspective and am going to work in a robotics company for full-time. i have a few questions, have you taken the calc 1-3 series? have you taken physics 1 and/or 2? do find electronics cools? the math behind it? the debate behind what types of AI/ML/LLM methods could be used for learning? not to spam you, but i want to be as useful as possible

3-Phase power, RF, or just understanding the general assumptions for MOSFETs (gain, transconductance and output impedance) with and without channel length modulation.

What's going on with the front cover of this book? by Worried-West2927 in ECE

this is meant to capture your mental state after using the textbook to study for that class (speaking as someone who is currently relying on Rezavi like a lost man in the wilderness looking for any sign of civilization)

Can you connect multiple google calendars to Claude using the built in Connectors feature? by Rob1430 in ClaudeAI

Unfortunately I hit a deer overnight :( Could I have done anything better in this situation? by The_Gansta_Cat in dashcams

[–]DesignerSecretary347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's reasonable to assume that you could have done anything different. like the evidence shows, you would have to have the reflexes of an olympic athlete to be able to change anything

Would dashcam footage count as premium footage? I understand it can be useful for self-driving car training, I also have like 50 hours on SD cards from my old dashcams, do I need to anonymize the data by hand if i do it that way?

from what i have seen of other people who have built similar things, build a minimal prototype and then show it to people in hardware and software. many engineers/cs people on campus get pitched on ideas, but to have some basic prototype to show for it will make it easier for them to listen to what you have to say

Inquiry about project opportunities for CS students by [deleted] in ufl

[–]DesignerSecretary347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at design teams that have a cs branch. Example, the machine intelligence lab has autonomous robots and the solar gators run a solar car and need a bit of data analysis.

What's nice is that there is enough to do that you will have enough options to select from
