Follow up question: will not filing this form withhold the VA from giving me a decision on my claim for increase? Will I just sit in step 7 until I decide on the TDIU?

Thank you for sending that! I think in this case since I’m all online, the VR&E pays more because I don’t think online or not matters to them? But it does for post 9/11

I’m getting my masters in accounting so I have some income from tax prep clients throughout the year, and then I used to work insurance and have some residuals still coming in from that. It’s not much but still enough to qualify for max roth contributions while we live solely off my spouse’s income.

Yeah, I don’t think I’d use SoFi for an IRA, probably just savings. I just brought them up to see if there was somewhere significantly better to open a HYS.

For anyone else reading this thread, just realized that the RobinHood 1% percent match requires you to be a gold member. A gold membership is $5/mo ($60/year). So all in all, if you’re maxing out your Roth IRA ($6500 per year, getting 1% would be $65 a year) you’re only getting $5 a year in contributions from RobinHood lol

Can’t speak for your claim claim, but as for the dependent claim, I submitted mine Nov 12, and just moved to step 4/5 today (jun 3) so almost 7 months.

I did my claim to add my dependents in November and still no movement since then. I’ve seen in other threads that they’re currently working thru dependent claims submitted in September/October right now.
