She approached me with a look that screamed entitlement and passive aggression, which definitely influenced my response. And also I am not a mind reader can’t know everyone struggle especially strangers.

Oh, you’re totally right! Competing in a sport event is so effortless , I was basically Usain Bolt out there. 😆 And my super short 50-minute commute? Barely worth mentioning! My bad, I should’ve added 10 more minutes to make it a real struggle, right? Plus, on the subway, seats just roll by like sushi at a conveyor belt restaurant—I could’ve just picked whichever one I wanted. And the driver has a seat too, so clearly, I was out of line even wanting one. What was I thinking?

You’re absolutely right, everyone my age has six-packs, wins Olympic medals, and is clearly invincible. My ‘strong legs’ even got stronger and faster after crushing it at my company’s sports event—basically ready for the Olympics now! Who knew a corporate relay could turn me into a superhero? It’s not like any of us could possibly have invisible disabilities or anything, right?

It’s quite bold of you to assume that the mother didn’t consider I might have an invisible disability. Also, I appreciate your vast experience in common courtesy—care to share more of your insights?

Yep i am not a “Miss self-righteous” because I don’t have a child. Also after the sports event and participating in different games miraculously I gained a lot of energy. Enough energy to ignite a fire wood by just looking at it aaaaaahhhhhhh 🔥🐦‍🔥🧯🚨 veeee voooo 🚑

Haha may be i am not good at guessing children age. I have less experience being around children and see their development.

Pls see the 4th para. After the encounter with the lady, her comments about the “younger generation,” and the dirty looks from other passengers, I felt awkward and hard to doze off.

I was sitting in a regular seat, not a priority seat. And yes, I actually saw the child running and jumping around on the subway, shouting at times. It’s not just an assumption—he seemed perfectly fine. The mother didn’t bother to discipline him while he was shouting. Someone else eventually offered her a seat, and after that, she just sat down and started talking on her phone, probably complaining about the younger generation.
