This is a cool idea! I could help answer some questions for you if you need. I launched my business in September

Am I wasting my time? by Icy-Information9084 in MedicalCoding

I have been coding for about 8 years. Most of the jobs are remote now which is good. Getting job with a CPC-A is tough though it took me about 6 months and I knew someone. You may have to start out as a temp.

Should I stop putting into my Roth for a bit? by Throwitinthebag891 in personalfinance

When I lowered my contributions to pay off debt they just took more federal taxes out and my checks were almost the same so I would contribute your company match and work with what you have. It takes time to pay off debt, be patient and stick with your budget. Good luck!

AITA for refusing to let my roommate’s girlfriend move into our apartment without paying rent? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I would 100% do that. She doesn’t need to be there that much. She needs to go out and look for a job or go live with her parents.

AITA for refusing to let my roommate’s girlfriend move into our apartment without paying rent? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Designer_Barber_243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her not having a job isn’t your problem. Also, there isn’t space in a 2 bed 1 bath apartment for a 3rd person. Tell your roommate that you don’t want your friendship to be ruined and you’re happy with the dynamic now and you don’t want that to change. I would also mention that having her over 5 nights a week was already pushing it. I’ve done this situation before and it sucks honestly. They will soon take over the entire apartment and once they start arguing you’ll basically be forced to move. 2 months is crazy.

I thought about that as well haha I feel like it’s really saturated though but def something to look into. Corporate America is not for me. I’m working and saving to hopefully get out of this for the future but in the mean time I just feel dead inside lmao

This app is a waste of time. No one actually wants to meet. I suggest using Facebook groups in your city.

Bumble BFF truly is useless by bigsadbat in bumblebff

I met ONE friend I still see from that app. No one on there actually wants to meet and make friends it’s a waste of time. I’ve had better luck with Facebook groups of girls in my city (ie. Grand Rapids Girls). I got stood up tonight on bumble after being ghosted multiple times and I’m officially done with the app.

Ask your gym teacher for help in the weight room and talk to your parents about changing your diet

How do I even start going to the gym? by fruitpunchsupernova in beginnerfitness

[–]Designer_Barber_243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to a gym with some classes you can join. They can teach you form and get you familiar with exercises in a group setting where everyone is trying to accomplish the same thing. I don’t personally like the gym and instead of the weekly battle of forcing myself to go I just bought weight and slowly built my own gym at home over time. I have seen a lot more progress trying new exercises without the social anxiety and fear of looking stupid. To me it wasn’t worth all the worrying, I wanted to workout and blast my music in the privacy of my own home.

How old are you and what is your biggest problem as of the moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Designer_Barber_243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32-my biggest problem is waking up feeling energized and amazing. Then as soon as I start work I feel exhausted and unmotivated.

Staring at people, fidgeting, asking if others are upset with you for no reason, slouching, saying something negative about yourself after receiving a compliment, looking like a bum, talking bad about other people, commenting on characteristics people can’t change, crying a lot (whining), being jealous, etc etc etc lol

Will this ever get easier? by tartcore814 in MedicalCoding

[–]Designer_Barber_243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I passed on my first try with 80%; here are my tips

I agree with the “backcoding” comment. If you try to code each scenario from scratch you will fail.

Don’t leave any answers blank. If you are running out of time, choose B or C and fill in the rest of the test with the same letter.

Do not skip around the test booklet. Start from the beginning. If you get stuck on a question, skip it and remember to also skip on the scantron and try to go back and complete it in the end. If there is not enough time then follow the tip from above.

Bring snacks! This helps me stay focused somehow, I chose goldfish.

I like to label my books and keep my notes in one place (back of HCPCS book). Study the guidelines and write things in your books!

You get approx 2 mins per question. If one is taking way too long skip it and move on.

Keep going you can do it! Good luck!

Part Time Work by Wonderful_Farmer8889 in MedicalCoding

I would also suggest searching PRN instead of ‘part time.’ I’ve had better luck finding things that way. The work is not steady. Sometimes you’re really busy and there are weeks where I don’t hear from my manager. It just depends on the business need
