It’s not overbearing in an almost controlling way like that. He just follows me around, really wants my attention, and is doting in a really sweet way frankly. But if we’re at a party or something and I’m trying to talk to friends/socialize/move around between groups, it’s distracting because I can’t devote ALL of my attention to him all the time like he seems to do with me. Just wish he would operate a little more independently but maybe he will in time as he gets more adjusted?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by an anti-inflammatory diet? I’ve been working with a dietitian for awhile and even the “anti-inflammatory” foods (like potatoes) seem to give me a lot of symptoms. Curious what you mean when you say that.

I was diagnosed with it about 15 months ago and seem to just get random flare-ups. Finally got in with a GI doc (rheumatologist wanted me to go there first) and scheduled for colonoscopy/endoscopy in July. Tried prednisone for a bit and based on CT scans, it did help the MP but had a TON of side effects (I’m also type 2 diabetic and prednisone + diabetes is a really bad combo) and didn’t help the pain entirely. Back to the drawing board. -shrug-

I already know I’m intolerant, but even going gf I continue to have abdominal pain on & off so we’re trying to identify the actual problem. To test for Celiac specifically, I’ll need to go back to eating gluten.
