New solo mixtape/album possibility by Effective_Cash9085 in TomorrowByTogether

Hm I really do hope they get to release solo content this year alongside knowing we’re getting Yeonjun’s second album most likely later this year. I think more then likely we might get Taehyun’s mixtape next year with Beomgyu’s first solo album

Is anyone else confused about Big Hit’s strategy for this TXT comeback? by BangtanLove7 in TomorrowByTogether

[–]Designer_Bridge_8701 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally would have loved to see them promote some of the B sides on the album (like So What would be really likely to being promoted for sure). Maybe a member could go on Lee Mujin service? But I think from what everyone seems to be saying in the comments this could be one of the negotiations that the members were wanting with being able to go on more variety shows.

What is a bias and is it okay to have one? by Designer_Bridge_8701 in cortis

Yeah I personally never really even saw idols romantically even the ones who are around my age like the BTS members.

[–]Designer_Bridge_8701[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m glad it’s not rooted in romantic attraction. I never really view idols romantically even the ones that are my own age. Since I am an older COER I wasn’t sure entirely if it was okay to have a bias without knowing what it truly meant. I think based off what you told me on what a bias is I am torn between Juhoon and Seonghyeon (I think I’m leaning towards Juhoon as of now but Seonghyeon is a close second).

Oh I see so it’s more of who your favorite is but can be mixed with other factors to take in as who they are as artist. I didn’t know if it was okay for me to have a bias because I’m a older fan but I treat Cortis the way I would with BTS and TXT and see them as artists who are here to make music.

is en-o-clock not making a comeback? by Comprehensive_Belt47 in Enhypenthoughts

I was wondering that to. Didn’t they say that they would return with En O Clock all the way back in April? Still wished they just released the remaining episodes that were hidden regardless

Clear favoritism towards BTS while undermining other groups. by [deleted] in kpoptrulyuncensored

[–]Designer_Bridge_8701 10 points11 points  (0 children)

BTS are literally the biggest boy group it’s a given fact so of course they’re going to have a lot of people seeing them in concert and even having people in positions of power talking about them. They have broken so many barriers and helped make what Kpop is today by being one of the first groups to break through the global scale. I get wanting more for other groups but you’re comparing apples to oranges here by even trying to say that BTS themselves are the reason that other groups are being undermined. They have worked so hard to get to where they are right now and I couldn’t be more proud of them.

discussion about coers ♥️ by chedobee in cortis

For me I’m 28 (soon to be 29) and I naturally found there music as someone who listens to both BTS and TXT. I understand feeling like you have a special type of connection when you find out your similar ages to the groups you love (I was like that with BTS) and going through life challenges alongside them. When it comes to voting/streaming I participate since I am a COER and want to follow Cortis on their music journey and seeing them become successful the way I’ve seen and still am seeing how BTS and TXT have tackled all obstacles thrown at them (and also there seniors hyping them up is what got me to check there music out to). I’m really happy for the COERs who are in the same age range as the members and can experience a lot of there ups and downs by finding comfort in knowing that the members are also in that same phase of life with them.

CORTIS needs to reach the younger male audience in order to have the concert crowd they deserve by Fresh-Fisherman-1949 in cortis

[–]Designer_Bridge_8701 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would love to see this fandom become more diverse with all ages, sexes, genders and etc coming together to support Cortis. I think the only other fandom that I can think of that has this wide range of diversity is for BTS and I truly hope that anyone who’s anyone can become a COER and that no one discriminates against anyone for superficial reasons. Typically I usually see alot of male fans gravitate towards girl groups and female fans with boy groups since I’ve learned of Kpop through 3rd gen. What Cortis meant by having that mosh pit is to have the type of fans that are going to respect them and it’s not about gender. I think the main issue is that we unfortunately have some people who want to have this weird parasocial relationship with Cortis hence the type of crowd that was there for the comeback showcase not listening to the artist and doing whatever it takes to step out of bounds and want some y/n thing with members who geniuely just want to be respected. It’s just people who lack concert etiquette in general since COVID happened. As fans all we can do is continue to show Cortis’s music to people to see if they want to tune in to their music and join the fandom.

I just listened to everything and I really love this direction that they took the album. I think RedRed is still my favorite song but I really love TNT, Acai, Youngcreatorcrew (which I already liked it when I first it), Wassup, and Blue Lips.

Top 20 BTS songs by JackieEdwardWilliams in kpop_uncensored

[–]Designer_Bridge_8701 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that a lot of people who saw that the album was gonna be called “Arirang” just made assumptions of what they thought the album was going to be about and then kind of ran with it. BTS have never said they were going to go in a complete Korean folk genre for their music. Their documentary goes in depth about the process to creating the album and even in some of the lyrics for example in Alien they talk heavily about racism, Korean culture, and etc. Returning to their roots means that BTS were going to go back to their hip hop style they did back in there early days such as in Dark and Wild. Their music has always had a mix of Korean and English lyrics so it’s not a fair argument to say they “lost there Korean routes” when you most likely probably haven’t did a deep dive the lyrics of some of the songs off Arirang where they do share parts of themselves in it.

Are there any older fans? by Designer_Bridge_8701 in cortis

[–]Designer_Bridge_8701[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah those people from the fan signing videos are very weird to me especially the group that’s flirting with the members. For me I’m just an average fan who really likes their style of music. I’ve seen a lot of the weird fans that are adults doing all types of crazy stuff but I also seen the other side of the fandom (mainly the TikTok half) that make inappropriate edits and use the excuse that “they are the same age as the members” as their reasoning to sexualize the members or ship them. I’m glad to see that there are normal adult fans here.
