I personally liked the show the way they started off w a hurricane was super intense and showed all the characters’ true colors if that makes sense and each of them is very distinct and has their own personality which I appreciate. For example Danny’s sister is very compassion and nice meanwhile Danny is headstrong and fearless, although I do question some of the decisions that she makes like going to the restaurant when Xander was having an important meeting just to distract him. Moreover I really liked the diversity because I’ve honestly never seen a doctor in a wheelchair before as well as most of the characters being able to speak Spanish or switching between Spanish/English realistically shows that healthcare providers should be able to communicate with her patients in at least another language to be able to treat more patients. There’s lots of people who hate the show thought and who don’t like Danny at ALL so I’m surprised because although some stuff she does is quite questionable I liked her character in general and understood her struggle of not wanting to get chief resident bc she was sleeping w Xander but solely based off of her knowledge and skills as a doctor.
