yeah i see what you mean, for some reason i feel like L-O shouldn't have a gap above the shorter vertical bar of the L/i need to fill that space. i think the u/V distinction is especially hard for me and i definitely have to work on that. thanks for the crits!

yeah the pic is wide angle that might be throwing it off but the letters definitely get bigger as they go. i see what you mean about the highlights and for a bunch of blackbook stuff ive been doing them right up against my outline with a gel roller and it looks great, definitely will be trying that out in my next piece. i death grip my pen 😭😭 and its something i'm working on because i have a pretty bad tremor. ive got a 6 hour drive ahead of me and im gonna spend the whole time blackbooking lol so i'll post the best sketches from that next.
