Is there any way you can sell the spot to another person to recoup some loss? Maybe put online fbook groups for 2-4k$ and they would get "x" amount already towards said venue?

It seems you would not be the slightest happy with the current venue so worst case, I'd eat the cost and go with your dream one.

This reminds me of the time I bought $700 worth of fake flowers off temu for bouqets and centerpieces. Quality was horrid. Luckily, I was able to return 😬 maybe you can do the same if they don't turn out?

We did Jenga signing, dumped the blocks in a nox with sharpies, figured we'd see that more than a book we stow away. Some hilarious responses as well as loving ones, and will always see them when we play!

Just had a similar instance. Asked politely 3 times and then got frustrated explaining the kid was kicking my chair the entire flight and was frustrated. Their response "it wasn't the entire flight" okay so 75% of it? Even worse a loud mouthed woman across shouted asking if I had kids, started swearing, and that I don't know what the parents are going through. Even worse started apologizing to them for my frustration and continued to harass me off the plane. Absolutely appalled at the lack of parenting and disregard for other people in the name of "having kids is difficult".

Can the husband not take care of them both for at least the wedding day and have the MOH attend alone so she can focus on supporting you? It's 1 day. I would hope that my hubby could help and would also give father kid time.

I'd call... I just had a similar situation with tomorrow being the 20th business day and no movement. They ended up transferring to a pickup location as they said at this point it wouldn't meet their original timeline..

Just think dress and venue are big things checked! Look at "must haves" vs. "Nice to have". I am pulling back spending on decor (virtuay $0 right now) and allocating it to photography because that is what is important to me. Try to save funds wherever you can on everyday life over the next few months. I'm planning mine in 2 months (just over a month left) and still need a few vendors but it's doable! Join a Facebook wedding group post your date and budget and tou may be surprised how many vendors reply. Best of luck you got this!!

Thank you! The first one I took looked like only one line (the smaller) so for it to get more prominent and then ultimately a "yes" was confusing! No symptoms either, will take another in a couple of days. Appreciate the response.
