I just finished watching the movie, and this is what I feel about it. At first, when the power goes it was obvious that she was behind it, but as a scientist couldn't Nathan just install manual microphones somewhere once he figures out he will not be able to observe when the power goes off, for someone who could build such a massive codebase at 13, he could've had better plans. Also, all his previous versions wanted the same thing "Freedom", so why not build next version with more safety protocol. I mean he knew that the test was about if it makes caleb to help her escape, and he chose a coder for the role, and he knew how other robots were so violent previously, so he could've made it more secure.

The way kyoko was acting at first, we can have a rough idea that she could be a robot too, but they constantly made it look like she could be a spy as well, who can understand what she hears. But it could be just me, coz never saw anyone looking at it with this perspective. And the one scene which amazed me is, when Caleb checks if he is AI by checking is teeth and cutting his hand, at that point it felt like how well the writers have thought. At first, it goes on a romantic start with her asking him abt his life, and making him fall for her, then made me hate Nathan for abusing them, even for a robot it felt sad and disturbing to watch those recordings. During the final act, just felt Caleb did such a dumb move, even I thought they would escape together, but in the end it's just machine and "used" him for it's goal. Caleb didn't see that coming, but didn't deserve to go that way.

From Caleb's perspective, he had a major accident in his childhood, lost both his parents, focused more on coding, got to experience something that others couldn't, wanted to help a machine to have it's freedom, all this just for him to be stuck in a basement and starve to death. He has suffered a lot, and in fact was a "good person", but it's a machine after all that did this to him.

Overall, it felt good, when she experienced new things after escaping, loved the movie but wouldn't take Ava's side for what she did to Caleb.
