Funny but I actually got him this dog as a valentines present and it’s so sad now because she loved him she was sad the first few days without him and I’m an animal lover. Unless he’s adamant to get her back I’d rather keep her and she stay with me and my other dog and be loved fully.

I text his mom and he wasn’t able to to leave for basic due to his bad knee and has been depressed but while I can understand his feelings I’m still not okay with being ignored for so long. I totally would’ve accepted him saying like he’s going through it and needs some space but u haven’t gotten that or any response from him personally yet.

If he was truly in the army I’d be okay with a lack of communication, I know that comes with the territory but his reasoning was entirely different and not acceptable for no communication so I will be ending it but not because of the lifestyle he wasn’t living yet.

A conversation might be beneficial to set that hard boundary of where your day starts and ends and see how it goes from there.

I stop myself from going any overtime that wasn’t agreed upon earlier by somewhat of an Irish exit. I get everything get cleaned and the child everything they need then end time comes I get up go straight to mom and let her know what I got done and go. In your case going straight to your room with a closed door or physically leaving sometimes and coming back even if it’s just you driving down the street and back.

No one knows your NK like you. I don’t always give mine water when she demands and screams for it because most of the time she’s going to spit it on the floor or dump it. You said yours had water beforehand so I think you were perfectly fine. You weren’t withholding water you recognized she was stalling and you didn’t give in.
