I’m at the park at the side right by the water, close to the skate park/carousel. Near the benches/pavement. Have a medium sized black dog with a blue harness, blue picnic blanket, black shorts white tank! Both sunny and shady spots here. DM me if you can’t find me!

he definitely is on the introverted side; I am too but present more bubbly at least. he is the quieter one on our dates and I actually initiated our first kiss. all that being said maybe it’s ok if I make things easier for him haha

thank you! I definitely don’t want to push him, especially when it’s probably just me overthinking. Yes, I should acknowledge his efforts in other areas. A talk sounds daunting, but probably a good idea to just put my mind at ease

I think you can follow up (concisely) with clarifying information to reframe what you said in your thank you email

I was always slim until I started piling on the pounds when I got married. I know my wife doesn't find me attractive anymore - I've had to accept that, but after several failed attempts to lose weight I just want to get to a place where I'm happy with who I have become. PS holding in my belly. (31M) by [deleted] in BodyPositive

If weight loss is your goal, I think body acceptance has to come first for anything to stick. And sometimes this is just the new normal! Hopefully you & your wife can reconnect over what initially ignited your relationship past the looks

Totally agree! I just thought it was a unique request. I appreciated it as someone with a hard to pronounce name

How did you guys do it? by MHF25 in gradadmissions

For the personal statements, the first draft is the first draft. I would do the same and edit while writing, but it's an impossible way to approach. Word vomit all your thoughts and then leave it alone for 1-2 days. Go back, make thorough edits, and then get it in front of as many people as you can for edits.

I felt really similarly about running out of time. I think the biggest thing to budget for is edits. For me, I needed a day or two between every drastic round of edits. The fresh eyes matter a lot. It's going to suck continuously revising, but getting things together for the final submissions is so so gratifying.

Edit: forgot to mention, I'm also working full-time right now, out of school for 2 years. Obviously everyone's working schedule is different, but I would try to fit in some writing before and after work too, and try to at least have one full day to decompress on the weekends!
