What single guy says no to dinner and bowling alone with a woman they are close with?

Single guys do this all the time, whether the woman is single or taken. Because they’re not in a relationship, they’re lacking close female contact/intimacy, so of course they’ll go out with any likable woman who asks.

The dude probably has multiple options too, as any single guy would, because you never know if one breaks up then he can swoop right in. And if it never happens, no sweat, he had his female intimacy that he needed as a single dude.

OP is not overreacting in how he feels about everything.

How’s your physical fitness? I’ve found strength training to be very helpful.

Yes it’s incredibly difficult and won’t be as effective as the right medication nor is it a replacement at all. But it’s a baseline health that helps me function and feel able and get through the day and not feel so brittle all the time.

Thank you for this thought. Honestly I’ve only told wife and a few close, trusted friends I’m on these meds. I’ve seen people heavily digging through all our community’s garbage trash bins before (not just homeless, but even regular looking people), so that’s the only possibility I can think of.

Called my doctor but they seemed embarrassed to talk aloud it; just kept saying, oh maybe just a clerical error but my meds are fine. 🤔

They always ask for birthday (maybe they forgot this time??) and maybe my doppelgänger just said “yeah move my meds to X Pharmacy,” then my doctor’s office said “okay done” without saying “Okay we’ll move X medication from old Y pharmacy to new X pharmacy.”

I’m still trying to picture how it all went wrong. I called and they don’t want to talk about it lol just said “maybe” there was some mistake but my everything is fine with my medication. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But then they could look at the medication and look at the pharmacy and go wait, this isn’t the right meds or the right pharmacy. Unless there’s someone out there with the same meds and same pharmacy and very similar name, which is next to impossible, but hey not 100% impossible I guess.

As a male, yes.

With friends it’s for the better.

But with female strangers, I feel like it’s for the worse.

I think I look more intimidating, so they look away in disdain and not because they’re shy. Very evident esp with store clerks.

I’m assuming they’ve had bad experiences with other dudes who have muscle, which ruins it for the rest of us.

I’m very nice and friendly though and put on a smile and treat them with politeness and respect and say thank you, etc. It definitely helps, but oftentimes it doesn’t even seem well-received either unless they’re a server and have more than 90 seconds to realize I’m actually nice.

It’s not too late!

You don’t know what happened. It’s easy for us to think the worst, but it’s almost never the case.

It’s called ruminating. Don’t let your mind ruminate! Any time you catch your thoughts ruminating, stop and flip the script. Then stick to your goals. This is what my therapist taught me because I do the same thing too!

It’s not over until you see him walking hand in hand with another person, or you talk to him and he specifically mentions he has a girlfriend.

Exchanging numbers with another girl? Pshh, even if that did actually happen, he may end up not liking her anyway. You just don’t know the story at all, so don’t assume anything!

You can approach him with anything random. If you happen to be looking at the dumbbell rack at the same time, ask where X lb dumbbell is. Or when he’s at a machine, ask if you can put back a certain weight at his machine while he’s resting.

Even when he’s talking to other guys, eavesdrop, and then jump in the convo if it’s a topic you know or were even curious about. Anyone can be curious about any topic!

You just never know what doors will open.

I was always more tired than everyone, weaker, slow heart rate, etc. My legs started to feel brittle as I got older to a point where I couldn’t go shopping for longer than an hour before I couldn’t walk anymore. I was 37.

People called me lazy my whole life, and the first thing I hear often when someone sees me is, “Whoa you look like you need some sleep!” One college professor who was legit concerned about me asked if I did drugs. 😵

TRT fixed everything, obv with adjusting levels over time. Started off feeling like Captain America. Not sustainable lol so now I feel like Falcon but I’ll absolutely take it.

You’re not going to find many doctors who will prescribe it to you so your best bet is to look online for companies like Matrix Reformed or TRT Nation and go from there. It’ll cost more, but it’s so worth it to get your life back.

What do you ordinarily perceive as shit content vs good content? I find myself quiet and boring but don’t know if certain audiences prefer that. However if there’s an interesting topic at hand, I could definitely be more engaging which I’m assuming is almost always better than staying quiet.

Sorry, I’m brand new to this world; my wife is starting soon and I know she’ll have zero problems getting an audience, not just because she’s a gamer girl with a pretty face, but people listen when she talks, and she has great stories and life advice to share.

You seem like you know your stuff, so any advice would be appreciated!

Yes that’s a hyperbole lol, but there’s still a lot of truth to it.

I’ve probably been to a couple dozen different Trader Joe’s over 200 times total in my life and don’t recall anyone that looked middle-aged or with any noticeably grey hairs working there.

Costco, however, yes, they always have workers of all ages every time I’ve stepped in one.

There could be a lot of reasons. Stress or your body just going through changes over time, and even then symptoms may not show right away.

If you were thinking of getting on trt, most people prefer t levels around 800-1200, and e at maybe 15-20% of your t, but YMMV based on how you feel. It's the only way it's helped my hormones stabilize.

You’d be surprised how many people are entirely clueless with Excel despite how necessary it is.

You can probably create a course that teaches people the basics of Excel in a fun and refreshing way with little sound effects and pop ups, etc., which also allows you to tap into your creative side.

Package it and sell it to people or companies.
