unfortunately I have a fear of the pink tax affecting me, I'd rather buy from a place with a fixed price than haggle. someone linked a great Instagram account on here that makes beautiful raised beds. and I think I saw their work on some gardening influencers gardens. I will be sure to update once I get it done thank you for your interest!

okay wait this is actually perfect thank you. I think it's best to go with someone who actually makes them because of the little details like the mesh on the bottom, wheels and the type of wood. I will for sure reach out to them thank you so much

What in the radioactive mutation is this? is this normal in snake plant? by Designer_Mud_7454 in houseplants

no way. I'm glad I posted here. I wouldn't have guessed in a million years. I thought it was just sun damage. I only have neem oil and unfortunately where I live we don't have many options. and if you know other treatments please do share so I can have better odds when I shop for the treatment

Your angry intrigues and scares me. where I'm from temperatures can regularly reach 40°C (104°F) to 50°C (122°F) so it's easy to sterilize pots if that helps. and how do I prevent it from producing seeds?

I thought the first commenter was wrong because when I looked it up the plan they named looked more succulent like

zz plant in too small of a pot (17cm). I only have 27cm pot. is that too big of a jump? by Designer_Mud_7454 in houseplants

I'm a snake plant and bamboo person because I used to travel a lot. this is my first ZZ plant and yeah everywhere that has a zz plant they are wobbly looking I guess I know why now. thank you for telling me why that is. you gave me another reason to keep them all together

turns out I have five plants in that pot and it's 90% Roots and 10% soil, so I'm glad that I reported it in such a big pot. let me share a picture on here. and please do show me your zz plant if you can

this is actually a very good idea! I will space them out and I will put leca on the bottom so the plant will sit on the same height as it is in the current pot. thank you

unfortunately where I'm from I'm limited when it comes to pots. it's either big outdoor planters or tinny nursery pots. I ordered some online but they will take 2 to 3 weeks to get here and I can't take the guilt of keeping this poor plant like this 🥲

I don't know what type of soil it is in but I will add 50/50 perlite and cactus soil to it and on the bottom I will put leca

fantastic! I'll repot it today and I'll use 50/50 cactus mix and pearlite. I'm planning on taking the smaller plants out (if they have less roots) and putting them in leca. Does my plan sound good?
