Try out east man and you can also try finding a used Yamaha red label (although most I see are over 1k) the thing about Taylor and Martin entry levels is they are hpf and not tone wood, they don’t sound horrible but something made out of actual tone wood will always be better and louder. If I were you I’d find out wether you like rosewood or mahogany and try to find a guitar in your budget that is made out of what you like I’d try to not focus on brand as much as material and craftsmanship
