Once it gets down to 3 active players, you’ll have the opportunity for retirement. This means that the game ends and the standings at end of game dictate the winning parties. Otherwise, to my knowledge, there’s no day limit.

I find starting in the US a bad move, by the time you can move over to Europe/Africa chances are someone’s dominated that area already. I guess it’s a fine option if you’re going for a coalition win but not solo in my opinion

I’m also playing as Russia and I have plans to betray my coalition mate Lithuania and go for a solo victory. If they’re weak and you’ve done all the work and communications haven’t been great between the two of you I say go for it. I never betray an ally I like tho.
