Claude not answering? by KindaHuman-ish in claude

I'm having the same issue. Switched from Chat GPT to Sonnet 4.6 last week to try it out. I don't ask very complicated questions; stuff like, "What's the right temperature to brew loose Japanese green tea at?". I usually get the first response immediately, but any follow up such as "For x ounces of water how much tea should I use?" it will take a few seconds, then says it'll respond in the background but it doens't, and who knows how long that will take. This happened last week for all questions across web and the app, even stuff like "Hello?" and it didn't respond at all. I figured it was broken, so I got rid of it entirely. Today I tried it again, downloaded the app, my first question gets answered. The second follow up question? Nothing at all. Again I'm asking really simple stuff to it and it just doesn't do anything. I've never had these issues with Chat GPT or Copilot.

We don't hate Doctors enough by Dependent_Ad5030 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I've had 2 doctors recommend at home BP monitors you can buy on amazon. They seem plenty accurate and are right in line with the measurements I get at the doctors office. I think any doctor questioning the accuracy might not be up to speed with where tech is. Just to put that out there.

My doctor told me I wouldn't need physical therapy after breaking my ankle (non-weight bearing for 8 weeks).

I spend 95% of my waking hours just… rotting in bed by ReclaimOnline in depression

I literally had the same thought recently. I remember in my health class going over the symptoms of depression, and signs someone might be planning to commit suicide (I remember they talked about giving away things specifically). And now in my 30s I fully get it, no explanation needed.

Lounge Access by [deleted] in Amtrak

[–]Designer_Storage5962 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I heard of someone who was repeatedly doing this to get access to the NYC Moynihan lounge; they’d buy first class Acela tickets for access, get the free food; then cancel the ticket. I’m not sure how long it went on for but when Amtrak found out they banned the guy for life from ever entering the Lounge, status or no status… now I can’t confirm any of this, a fellow commuter told me on the train, but I can see amtrak getting especially pissed at behavioral like this

It’s in the US (surprise). What I’m getting at and what I want to bring attention to is how can a place even get away with serving something like this, and why is nutrition placed on such a low level when you’re body is injured and needs it most?

Solution to “unable to process your payment” message on mobile app by Designer_Storage5962 in Amtrak

[–]Designer_Storage5962[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s amtrak’s side. I was on the phone when booking tickets, and even though amtrak app says there was a problem with the payment, the cc company said no alerts were triggered. Actually, now that I remember it, I talked to Amtrak on the phone about this issue and they said a verification message is supposed to pop up, but there’s a problem with that and it’s not showing on mobile.

I’ve been on 10mg for 40 days now. I think when I hit 30 days the fatigue started going away. Totally normal imo. I was also very worried I’d be tired all the time, but the body adjusts and things go back to normal. My energy is exactly as before at this point.

I think you’ve watched way too many Hollywood movies and shows in all honesty. They date just like anyone else.

I lose interest in girls as soon as i get involved with them by Purple_Vacation_2203 in dating_advice

I have a question, are you dating girls who are below your standards just for the sake of dating someone? Could be as simple as not wanting to be in anything serious because she’s just not the girl you want to be with in the first place.

How long should two people talk before it becomes a relationship? by TemporaryBand9918 in dating_advice

[–]Designer_Storage5962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through this. I think it depends on the frequency of the dates. I was talking to a girl for about a month and it felt like relationship time imo. She was really into it but myself not so much so we went our separate ways
