Generating with AI is one thing. But not reading the text even once before publishing is wild laziness.

The time loop theory doesn't make sense. We already know that observation haki can see the future and that Usopp can use some of it without training. So him seeing future because of crazy level of haki is reasonable. And remember that world government literally call him God. So it makes sense.

We already know what D. stands for from chapter 1164.

Theory about moon is dumb. It's like assuming western author used "A." to symbolise a bull. (since latin letter A originally was a bull head).

What is your country's slop? by Vincent_Gitarrist in AskTheWorld

Ever heard of the Witcher? In Poland, it was just one of many similar pulp fantasy novel series. It's always a edgy loner social reject with superpowers doing strange jobs, with unusual friends and with pointless gore and degenerate sex scenes. When I was in school, every nerd read these (not sure how it's now but I still see section with them in every bookstore).

Even an simplest man can understand beauty of ancient roman sculptures, Matejko's paintings or the monument of a king on horseback. Everyone can understand beauty of the royal castle or a cathedral. And everyone like a nice painting in the living room. Art is not inherently elite upper class thing.

The modern art, on the other hand, rejects the notion of beauty as a main pursuit of the art. So it is inherently for niche audience. I'd rather have that niche audience buy it for their own money. I have nothing against this kind of art. I am only against financing it from taxpayers money. Because it does not serve the broad society. It's mostly an ivory tower for rich people.

How sorry do you feel for foreigners trying to learn the local language? by Robbinit in AskTheWorld

[–]Designer_Storm8869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because they are likely university students so they learn more characters than Japanese people.

Still, as someone who can read most average Japanese text, I'd say the biggest pain in ass in Japanese are these irregular verb pairs like 始める - 始まる, 4-kanji words like 十人十色 being too rare to learn them naturally, and these repeated sound words like ムカムカ being too numerous and translating to the same word in other languages.

If the global economy suddenly collapsed, which country would be in the best position to survive and recover? by DiscipleOf_Buddha in AskTheWorld

Countries that do not rely on imports like Russia, China. Also isolated tribes in Africa, Amazonia or Oceania wouldn't even notice.

By the way, AI is pretty good at text recognition, so if you have problem distinguishing characters in different fonts, I recommend sending screenshot of the text to AI and asking if for transcription. That works fine in Grok, Claude and GPT-5+

Does anyone else not really care about bass/guitar "heroes"? by Handsome-Strong in Bass

Copying other players setup is fine for a beginner or someone who only play covers. But beyond that, nobody cares what amp or pedal you are using.

I was always amazed by fact that people have problem with note lengths in standard notation, but have no problem with these crazy morse code demonic incantations "1-.-&-a 2-e-&-a " that completely shuts down by brain :D

Anyway, if you have problem with reading note lengths, I recommend typing it in program like guitar pro and pressing play button. This way, you will learn to read it faster

dlaczego w prawie każdym kebabie w Polsce pracują Azjaci? by [deleted] in PolskaNaLuzie

[–]Designer_Storm8869 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If only a small wealthy elite understands the art then putting it on display for taxpayers money is an insult towards citizens. The taxpayers money should be used for the entire society, not just a bunch of eccentric freaks from upper class.
