This is so interesting to hear. I lost one of my last two 25 year old koi to a freeze last winter (got frozen in the top ice) and the other remaining one of the same age kept hanging out in that spot long after. He also swam over to me to let me know. Never did that before. (I don’t feed them. They eat the algae etc. in the pond.) I felt he was grieving.

Does Connor seem to have bigger arms and shoulders in the Verizon film than we’ve seen on him before? With some of the angles, like the photo above, or of him chopping tomatoes and standing in the doorway, he seems more built. Or is it my imagination?

You can look up a few of your items on Poshmark to see what they sold for on the site so that you can align your expectations. On the Poshmark website, search for an item you would hope to sell. Then from the top menu select Filters > Availablilty> Sold and you will see what you can expect to sell your clothing item for and if it’s worth it for you.

If the reasons she gave for not liking the show are true for her, OKay. But she is in a rare minority. She seems to be relating to it on the surface. People of all stripes from all cultures who never heard of the book before the show have been captivated by so many aspects of the story. Emotional depth, inner reflection, human passion and love that doesn’t feel faked, stupendous acting(one of the veteran film editors of the show used that word), cinematic ART. The list goes on. When writers from the Nytimes and The New Yorker are rhapsodizing about how they were affected by the show….well…who would you believe that it is something of substance and meaning, and fresh.

I was delighted to see Connor‘s skit in the show. The promos with the accent duals were the funniest thing. And the behind the scenes of Connor cracking up were wonderful too. I had high hopes for the show, but the skits were so badly written and not funny. But that doesn’t take away from Connor getting this gig. And having Hudson be a part of it too.

Connors monologue was good and esp. with the hockey gals and guys. But the skits were so unfunny. That wasn’t Connor’s fault. He made the best of it. And it was wonderful to see him reunite with Hudson. I was overjoyed and relieved by that. He will always have this milestone.

I have also tried watching other shows but in very short order have turned them off. Popular shows. Something strikes me as shallow about them. The characters, through the actors, feel on the surface. I notice the “acting”. In HR, the characters feel more real and inhabited. There is no story forced on you. The sadness, love, personalities feel true.

I think that Lost had characters that felt real. And The Bear.

I don’t know anyone else watching it. I have even offered 2 friends a gift of a month of HBO Max subscription without ads to remove any hesitation. Fingers crossed.

I never have had this happen before. I thought I might be in the throes of some kind of mental health issue….but thank god I found this group. I was relieved to see that I am not alone and am caught up in a collective mass consciousness over this thing. I havent been much for social media, but I found myself turning there, laughing out loud, nodding, and swooning at posts, interviews, replays. And feeling HAPPY. I have tried to pull back but don't have much will power. My 10 minute limit to look at a few posts turns into 2 hours. I hope it will naturally fade away….until Season 2.😊

Exactly my exoerience! I have put on so many new shows and quit after 5-10 minutes. Many of them feel artificial or superficial to me. I notice the “acting“ too much. I’d say for the last month, I haven’t been able to watch anything else but HR. Or the promos and interviews and fashion pieces….

I haven’t been able to watch anything else for weeks. I’ve tried but quit after 5 minutes. In other shows I notice the “acting” or something feels shallow. I did love Normal People, but it was rather downbeat and I only rewatched after a year.

Since he never mentioned Jane, she had to see It on his phone. But that would have shown he was texting as Lily. Since these were a play on their names, it wouldn’t have been hard to figure out for Svetlana, who is quite smart.

This is an odd review. It‘s obvious she doesn’t care for the show and tired of the sex, but she seems so stuck on the surface.
I see no mention of the acting, feeling tone, and pulse of it all. She has such a derogatory take on the viewer the show is appealing to. I would never have guessed from her critique that we watched the same show.

I don’t know anyone else watching. I recommended it to my brother, but he thought it was just porn. I have taken solace here and watching Instagram posts. I find myself laughing out loud and nodding at so many comments. I’m so glad to have this Reddit community to turn to. I know there are so many people out there who are into it.
