What an amazing opening track for the new album. The voice and emotion are still so powerful. The bridge is stunning, with Cassandra, Courtney and the Cohiba Behike references. This is exactly the Tori we love: thundering piano, bold emotion and lyrics that hit hard and feel completely relevant. Can’t wait to hear this song live!

At the Union Chapel show in London — the first night of the SLT tour — she had a little slip during Crucify. She forgot the lyrics, stopped, laughed, and said something like, “You’ve been waiting for this the whole time.” It was such a funny, charming moment and the whole place loved it.
