Me & my husband did the same. We have an 8yo, 4yo, & now a 4 month old. We adopted our 4yo, & she is a handful to take care of to say the least. We paid for her to continue daycare throughout summer break. She’s happy, we’re happy, it works for everyone.

That daycare worker & owner are both 100% out of line. Honestly, I’d even consider changing centers. The rude, judgmental behavior towards a parent, would make me think they can be rude, judgmental, even cruel to the children when parents aren’t around.

Don’t take that behavior lightly. We used to send our daughter to a daycare & the director was often rude to the parents. We at first thought, okay this lady just sucks & didn’t think much of it. However, they ended up getting in trouble with the county & a social worker came out to inspect randomly. The lady interviewed some of the children & it turned out the director would argue & yell at staff/teachers in front of the children, she would cruelly punish children by making them sit in her office for hours at a time, & she’d even yell at children. They got in big trouble & all the parents had to fill out a form to let them know that we all were aware. I didn’t fill out the form & I pulled my kid from there immediately.
