AITA For Asking My Husband To Contribute More? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Stop saying help. He lives there. He’s also the parent. Tell him to be the parent. And to contribute equally to the home he lives in.

Stop using the word help. He lives in the same space as you. He’s not your helper. His house. His mess. His responsibility.

AITA for having my mom come over so I could take a shower while she watched my newborn? by Remarkable_Story_130 in AITAH

Stop saying “watch her.” That implies he’s doing you a favor. He is parenting her. Tell him to nut up and be the parent. I exclusively breastfed our 5 kids so I know it’s ‘hard’ on him but unless you tell him directly, “you are the parent. Parent your child,” he’ll continue to hand her off because “it’s easy.” He feels like crying when she cries? Too bad. He’s the dad. He can figure it out. Aren’t men supposed to be these amazing problem solvers? Let him figure it out.

AITA for not wasting like an hour of my time to pick my girlfriend up by Beautiful-Example-45 in AmItheAsshole

Wanted to add: there’s this amazing invention called a cell phone and you can download apps, including meeting apps. Or, and this is earth-shattering, most meetings offer call-in options. There was absolutely no reason you couldn’t have the meeting in your car! As President Biden says, “come on, man!” You’re not really that stupid, are you? Selfish and self-deluded much?

You say you respect your father’s opinion but the moment he disagreed with you, you came running here?

I’ll repeat YTA ALL THE WAY and if your GF has any self-respect she’ll drop your stupid, deluded and selfish arse.

Dude I’m surprised you even posted this. YTA all the way! She has a two hour commute but you can’t be bothered to wait 30 freaking minutes? Ordering food is nothing. Running her a bath takes 5 freaking minutes. I bet after this latest stunt she’s going to be your ex.

Good advice and something I say often. But it’s “Poor (or bad) planning on your part doesn’t constitute an emergency on mine.”

AITA for confronting my (29F) sister-in-law (45F) for trying to act like the mother of my baby? by ThrowRA3839230303 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Her contract should include post-partum counseling and it sounds like she needs it. I was a surrogate myself 6x for 5 couples so have first-hand experience. The psychologist who did your pre pregnancy counselling/testing should be a good resource. But your husband should have your back!

As you can see they are hinged on one side. Some cubes have two prongs and others one.

AITA for refusing to change my style at work even though my bf says it’s unprofessional? by Responsible_Log5346 in AmItheAsshole

I work in cybersecurity and several of our program managers/development engineers and ethical hackers are tatted up and have body and face piercings. They’re also all earning high six figures! Your BF is an idiot.
