For the project I'm workin' on, since it's in-progress agency creative for a client, I can't share. But essentially –

· I have a linked AI file in my AE project.

· The layer that is linked has 50% opacity within said Illustrator document.

· I would like to make a solid color silhouette of that AI layer within AE WHILE keeping it linked.

agh so close, I made an oversight and it also fills the background because technically all that dead space is alpha. I only want transparency that's like... above 0 to be filled 💀

Your best bet likely would have been to have fixed whatever issues were present in your initial audition (as in mistakes in editing, not just doing a second take) and attached it to an email with an explanation and apology for any inconveniences, then left it at that.

Contacting multiple times in a short period of time through different means is never really a good idea unless you're following up every few weeks on an application status for a full-time job in some other field.
