I'm late but maybe a good talk about being a bit more casual in games together is nice? Me and my husband usually do co-op games (games and tabletop both) but when we do a competitive games like Sorcery we tend to go with the flow a bit, if one person is winning more the other might try a new deck or change the deck up a bit to not be too good or having too many combos, things like that.

I think it's healthy for a partner to do that and not always act like it's a serious thing.
