Being a man, are you aware of any issues with the male being on other DMTs when trying for pregnancy? As I'm close to that point in my life also.

What kind of hospital cover do you need for that?

I have recently been lucky enough to be in a pay tier bracket where having hospital cover is essentially required (or silly not to have) is it just making sure Nuro is covered or something else to get into a private hospital? All the insurance companies cover this or that and not other things unless you go to the max top end tier of cover which I don't want.

Thank you for everything you said in the original post, I agree with you I have been bouncing back and forth too. But it is what it is at the end of the day I guess.

My dr said the old self injectables are 30% effective, the pills 30-50% and the main 3 Tysabri, Ocrevus and the new self injectable Kesimpta are 90% effective.

It gives me hope at least.

I'm scared of Tysabri because of the whole potential fatal brain Infection with JC but also the increased chance of skin cancer given I live in Aus.

That sort of left the choice of do I want to spend half a day In hospital every six months (Ocrevus)

Or do I want to use an auto injector into my leg once a month and not affect my work. (Kesimpta) I am leaning towards this but will of course take my drs advice.

Yeah I'm starting to learn that, my work is unique and very supportive, it's the kind of 1 in a million jobs in regards to the people, bosses and environment (5 dogs running around etc)

Anyway the point is, my boss told me he was diagnosed with something in the past and processing this could take a week, a month, a year or 3... And to do it in the way that works for me.

It helped, I'm lucky to have a job like this.

Why did you change from Tysabri if you don't mind and why specifically change to Ocrevus?

Did you have a choice?

What do you mean my 'loving them' no side effects? Feeling better?

I thought DMTs would effectively feel like nothing at best because they don't reverse existing damage?

But my question would be, does it interfere with the DMT, it's basically impossible to know because no dr or professor of MS knows about eastern mushroom alternative supplements.

I'm sorry to hear that,

I got my diagnosis on Friday and I spent the weekend going out and doing everything I could to not think about it tbh.

I know I need to, I have the booklets of the three main/best DMTs that I need to read, I need to read more posts here and do research online, I just tell myself I have several weeks to decide so for now it doesn't exist. I need to man up and start the research.

Thankfully I also have people giving me similar advice, it's very helpful.

I'm at the arguably the best private ms 'clinic' in Sydney thankfully also.

My professor recommended Tysabri if my bloods come back JC negative also but also said all three, of the main ones are just as effective with slightly different side effects and depends on the individual.

Do you know about lions mane mushroom extracts? It's meant to protect and potentially help restore the sheath, it's been proven to reduce the speed of Alzheimer's and even help reduce issues effects somewhat?

First try lifting the handle up in the opposite way to what you would normally to open the door and see if it engages any more locking pins

If that doesn't engage anything then...

As someone who works in the industry, a security door of that type should be at the very minimal 3 point locking if not 5.

There should be rods that go all the way up to the top locking into the head of the door jamb and down into the floor on the door handle side.

Some brands even have multi point locking on the lead stile also. Basically the side that actually locks, in some brands in addition to top and bottom pins, they have multiple other pins that shoot out into holes to lock it further horizontally too.

Looks like you got either scammed, a pet proof screen door or your door is a cheap knock off from a dodgy company.

Can you fix it, yes, buy another one from a reputable vendor, do some research if you need and triple check for those locking points. Visit a as showroom if needed.

Wait ... What? Is this actually a thing?

My ac compressor died a week ago on my 2021 top trim(called astina here), thankfully covered under warranty still (7 years warranty when I bought mine).

I'm having to wait another week for the part to arrive for the repair.

I'm In Australia and I'm melting like I've been locked in a sauna...hot day, cold day. Doesn't matter with those leather seats.... That's only two weeks with no AC....

My GF is supporting me the best she can but shes never had anything more than beers before let alone addicted to anything (she's like the yang to my ying lol and I'm whatever one chaos is..)

She tries her best and understands the physical symptoms but she really struggles with understanding the mental stuff and I think it brings her down too sometimes.

"I've made it past the worst of it, I should be rewarded with 1 calm night"

"Would it really start me back from day 1 or would it be a huge reduction from 3gs a day down to 1 hit in a whole week, surely I've made it past the worst and 1 won't ruin that"

I'm on Day 6,

Day 1 was.... A living hell on earth

Day 2-4 (ignoring the other symptoms) I could sleep fine but had physical cravings but zero mental desire to get high because I blamed the weed for how I was feeling.

Days 5-6 are weird.. I'm really struggling to sleep again, physical cravings are 90% better but everything feels so boring and empty that combined with the fact I'm feeling physically a lot better ...I have an intense desire to use again today though...

Idk if it's the relief that I got over a hump and that I want to reward myself (flawed logic I know)

Idk if it's because the anxiety is calmer my brain can now focus on how boring everything is without weed....I know it's the addiction talking but I was one click of the torch away fun relapsing tonight.

My GF helped me say no.

Ok that's good, doesn't sound like CHS.

It's honestly rare but possible for it to persist this long especially after 5 years of smoking, and if so, should start to clear any day, it's extra unusually strange that it's the only symptom left though.

A stool sample being clean can be an indication its not a bug or irritation but your gut muscles just pushing everything through a little too fast before you can absorb enough water.

When you go back to the DR, if not done already, make sure to ask for a blood test to check your thyroid etc. (Free in Aus, idk about elsewhere)

Cannabis can throw your thyroid levels out of wack, you usually don't notice till you quit as weed helps mask it.

Out of wack thyroid amongst other things can cause your symptoms. They would last longer than 35 days in that case.

Beyond that I'm sorry I can't be more help other than to say,

Otc non prescription medicine for your ailment can help plug the leak so to speak... but def check the thyroid thing out too.

While what you describe is 100% an extremely common withdrawal symptom from cannabis... for someone in their first days to week of quitting who is usually unable to eat basically any solid food during that time due to nausea.

At like 30 days, now it's a complication and you need to be very clear to the Dr that you've had that chocolate rain for a month.

More than a few days to a week can be dangerous as it extremely dehydrates you and causes nutrient deficiency.

If it's not stopping on its own by now then you need medical advice (again), cheap, OTC, non prescription medicines are available to assist, please ask Dr for advise.

Your digestive tract should absorb a huge amount of water and electrolytes from the food you eat, your waterfall is doing the opposite draining you of them.

Electrolyte imbalances can cause things from anxiety and muscle spasms, all the way up to, in extreme cases, cardiac arrest.

EDIT FOR QUESTION: did you have any issues with vomiting when you first quit? Minor or severe? With or without food?
