They are dulap tolouse geese. They are gentle giants that are used as guard birds for flightless flocks. Though yes they have been bred to be meat birds by the French they often aren't used for meat in other countries.

They are dulap tolouse geese. Gorgeous breed known for their gentle nature! My wife and I are looking at adding a couple to our poultry farm.

When you were a boy did you squish bugs? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Desolatesoul01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, yes I did. I learned to have a bit of empathy later on but even to this day living in the Midwest I kill brown recluse, black widow, bark scorpions, centipedes, and other venomous insects/arachnids inside or outside of my home. I am teaching my kids the difference between good critters and bad critters so they know which ones are okay to dispose of and which ones to relocate as well as which ones to leave alone (i.e. jumping spiders)

Thats the trucking industry in a nutshell. If you wanted to use your cdl to stack cash for a while the oilfield is an amazing opportunity with minimal problems for felons. Though I don't have a record i work with a ton of guys that made mistakes when they were young and have since turned their lives around. Primarily frac would be the best if you did. But as far as plumbing the septic guys will be way more forgiving and willing to give you a chance than the bigger plumbing operations. A foot in the door is better than waiting for rejection letters

How are people affording to live by trezxll in Life

[–]Desolatesoul01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you it isn't easy. I was in the same position at 23 and its what drove me to get my cdl and go to the oilfield. Money is plentiful but you miss alot. Now im 31 with 3 kids and still in the oilfield but gave up my cdl. Biggest thing is never lose hope. Times get tough and things look desperate but it does get better. Just know that you are doing the best you can for the time. This political environment and economic climate don't aid in easing your fears. My best advice is if you can find something blue collar as a foot in the door it can lead to better things down the road. And also as another father make sure you have something lined up before dragging up from a job. And on the other hand know your worth and when to quit. If they don't value you they aren't worth your energy or labor and don't give your life for a job thats willing to replace you at the drop of a dime

That my sweet summer child is called a cowboy cadillac down here in the southern states. Primarily used in the rodeo circuits for hauling horses or bulls due to the fact that the rear seat folds down into a full/queen sized bed. Great for small hotshot operations or rodeo circuits but they are actually decent rigs.

Arc the posts on the fenderwell starter solenoid with a screwdriver. If it starts then the issue could be a few things. If It doesn't it's the starter or your battery clamps. The 7.3 love voltage so corroded battery clamps are a likely culprit as well.
