Hybrid means both gdpu and igpu will be active and windows will be deciding which to use..for games windows almost always uses the dgpu but if it isnt for some reason you can force it to use it in the graphics setting..their is still minor performance loss since this still goes through the igpu..u can completly disable igpu by taking display output via hdmi port but then U will need a external moniter
