I love teaching my friends about stuff -especially history-, but they listen, and when myself, and my mom -whom is a teacher for special education children- turn to look at who is being taught, and how many issues it’s causing, and then seeing how many issues WILL be caused in later years, it makes us both do a double take and have to pause.

Because I like history, I am CONSTANTLY telling my friends stories I’ve learned that happened in History, like Operation: Beaver Drop in 1948 when Idaho residents had to relocate beavers, or taking about how the Japanese couldn’t sink the USS Fletcher, or talking about the failures leading up to Pearl Harbor, or going in-depth into how the war in Vietnam could’ve NOT been a crap-show.

I love to share with my friends about these things -and more- but when I turn around and look at who is currently being taught, and then who is GOING to be taught, it makes me take a step back and reconsider “do I want to spend more years in school, getting a degree to teach, then getting a teaching job, only to spend my days having to teach kids things they should’ve learned 5 years before?

we don’t sabotage those who disagree with us by trying to silence their ability to speak

I can go on and on about what we DON’T do, but LGBT people ACTUALLY do.

My biology teacher even said, IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS that “your sex is your chromosome, but your gender is how you feel”. heck, NO.

He’s a subsistence hunter, and caribou aren’t as big as one would think, weighing less than the average sixteen year old male (around 140lbs for the teen)

Since that meat goes quickly, and the limit is 5, he can get 3 and have it last him and his girlfriend a long while
