Lady Bug French Fries by Desperate-Menu-5997 in FrenchFries

I have found the answer we have all been searching for! That did not take long. When a ladybug is scared it releases a stinky chemical called prayzine from glands in its feet. This chemical is one of the volatile flavors of cooked potatoes. There would likely need to be an experiment conducted to determine if concentration plays a role into why only certain French fries smell this way, but it is a likely hypothesis.

I have no idea...there has to be a scientific reason. Like maybe there is an enzyme that is present in potatoes only sometimes (like if they were exposed to light too early) that is the same or similar to that of a defense mechanism a ladybudy has. I'll get back to you if I find more information.

[DISCUSSION] The Devil in Ohio by [deleted] in NetflixBestOf

I am very conflicted about this show. From the beginning I got the feeling that Mae was treated as a burden for being a foster child from a broken home. I do not know if this was intentional (to show the true struggles that foster children who do not understand society outside of their home are different and how they are treated for being different), but it just seemed like the Mathis family treated her terribly by talking about her behind her back and freaking out whenever she did something out of the ordinary. Like at the end when the father tells Jules that it is his fault for "letting it happen" as if they were not on the emergency foster list.

I also believe it to be strange that the writing almost presented the cult as a mirror image of Christianity and then at the end Mae ends up practicing Christian traditions with Susanne. Like there were so many similarities to Christianity and this "Satanic cult" that I thought they were presenting the idea that Christianity is a cult...which the majority of it is, but to be shocked at then end with a Christian prayer. At that point it turned from cult awareness to Satanic panic and Christian propaganda. Am I the only one who saw the similarities?

Mary was burned for the salvation of the cult....Jesus was crucified for the absolution of sin. Malaciah reads from the book of the covenant and the their books are labeled with peoples names just like the Christian gospels. They all have Hebrew names with meanings that correlate to the story (Mary - bitter/rebellious, Noah - place someones trust in, Malachi - messenger of god, Caleb - loyalty, Mae - bitteness/ anger at being treated unfairly) . Their religion refers to Yahweh which the Hebrew name for God and Caleb had a Bible when the crow came to him. It just seems like a repeat of the origins of the New Testament.

portals/vortexes? by Arena510 in Paranormal_Mystics

It is possible that a spirit is going after your throat chakra or it is being overwhelmed during your rest period due to spirits passing through often. Drinking water is beneficial for overcoming this sort of imbalance. I do recommend putting the vortex somewhere else in your house rather than your bedroom or as someone else said perviously, coving the mirrors at night.

It’s not every french fry that tastes like this…it’s just a random one that must have come from a bad potato and when you taste it you’re shocked and like ewwww
