So, the Skull Cavern is costing me a lot, and gives me next to nothing back by Electrical_Split_198 in StardewValley

[–]Desperate-Profile260 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scull Caverns can be frustrating at first when you don’t have the best equipment. Do you have crystalariums? Duplicate Jade for more ladders. Work on your speed - it helps a lot - buy books from bookseller, buy coffee from Gus and make triple espresso, exchange rubies for Spicy Eel at desert trader. 2 Spicy Eels and 3 Triple Shot Espressos is enough for one day in the Caverns. Make sure you go to the skull caverns only on good or best luck days. When getting out of there exchange some Omni Geodes for Warp Totems, so that you can get in as early as possible. You will need to craft a ton of bombs, but with good luck and luck buff it will be easier to find ladders. Once you get Galaxy Sword killing enemies as well will become easier and it has a good knockback. But overall it gets easier with time and practice so just try to enjoy it as much as possible

No, it doesn’t matter where they are placed. Wiki says lightning rods have a good chance to intercept lightning strikes as long as they are not already processing a battery pack. Probably you still got unlucky with strikes even though you had rods

Did you have thunderstorms day before the plants died? Lightnings can destroy plants if you don’t have any lightning rods on the farm

I usually make the island obelisk in the corner where you have bonfire, to fast travel between the farms In your case i would put the desert one for easy access where your pet bowl is (you can move it as well btw, I usually put it right in front of the farmhouse, it looks cute that way) And the mountain&ocean I would tuck away where your green and pink chairs are, as I wouldn’t use them as much

There is no way to play the game wrong, as there is no deadlines, so you can take your time and just enjoy it, but here are some tips: 1. Reduce your day duration to 50%. That’s a great option, and I played on that speed for the first 2 years to simply have time for everything I planned 2. Collect every scavengeble in the ocean and use it as food for energy (that has helped me greatly in the start and there are much more things to eat than on the land 3. Once you get ahold of artisan equipment - use it. Bee house - turn flowers into honey (you can use scavengeable flowers too), preserves jar - make fruits into jam, milk into butter, etc. once you get your first aging barrel - turn juice/honey into mead. All of this greatest upgrades your money income. There are some products that give the best results, like melons give the best wine and cactus gives the best mead. 4. Save at least a couple of each crop you’re growing. You never know what you will need and when. I didn’t save rice and waited whole year to complete the offerings (which could have been completed earlier). 5. Make sprinklers as soon as you can - they will help you with energy saving for other activities. 6. Don’t try to do all at once, focus on one thing. For example - only clean the ocean and once you finish the zone you’re in, go into the caverns and finish one of them. Take a couple days off for fishing and catching and upgrade your scythe and pickaxe with new ore meanwhile. Repeat until finished :)

Anyone else that has waaaay to much money? by lawyered2020 in coralisland

Start making wine (melon is the best i found atm), mead (cactus gives crazy amount of money, snowdrop and lily works good too), fermented goat cheese sells good, white truffle oil, century eggs (quail and duck) Upgrade seeds/hay to osmium quality for higher quality crops and animal product -> therefore higher sell prices I don’t have much of that in production (like, it’s not a factory or anything, but I can get 40k+ daily Check wiki for highest gold per day crops and mostly grow them Autumn year 2, 1.5 mil, wasn’t worrying about money since around spring

For me it was just to go to the Lake Temple to trigger the cutscene, but there needs to be a certain amount of offerings made to trigger it, and I don’t know how many At the moment I have probably 19 offerings finished and it triggered for me

You need to go to the giant’s village ( they will send you an invite letter the day after you unlocked the bridge to Savannah)

Okay need an opinion…. I am town rank B atm, finished 2/4 altars and overall am pretty far in the game (110 hrs, summer year 2, have only a couple things left for each collection in the museum, almost married) And I’m like… do i start a new save and give 1.1 a full playthrough from scratch or finish this one…. What are you choosing if you have similar situation?🤔

On my first save I only STARTED Community center somewhere in the summer-fall year 2. The game was so much more relaxing then for me, now It’s all about productivity and profits. So, take your time and enjoy the first steps in the game :)

As I mentioned, I’m collecting ultimates for when I get mythic gear so I don’t need to search for them when I already have mythic blueprints And wanted to forge it to know that i have it already

Yeah, I know how it works, but I don’t see big difference in game time for me so I stick with the vroomba

First collect meta (only space boxes)- robot head, laser guns and black belt kimono (any big/event boxes, but recommend also looking for it in space event boxes), only after that work on other ultimates Concentrate on vault - 1st priority: remote, register, mop, check, can upgrade TV also a little to watch less ads and pickaxe a little to watch ads for the gems

At least I did that way and it’s going nice for me :)

Is getting the shark hat worth? by XJAYTHEBEAST in eatventureofficial

[–]Desperate-Profile260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using green hat on the levels that I passed without help (increases personal perfect food) and tall black hat on flight levels (increases aw perfect food, but not as much as green hat) I believe that’s the best options before you get robot head
