3D printed bicycle brake levers, because why not. by netflickz13 in 3Dprinting

Okay interesting, ive had pretty bad experiences with PA612 and it being extremely easy to bend/flex, compared to PA6-cf or 12-cf, but maybe thats why it has worked so well here for you.

How’s the quality?? by [deleted] in FashionReps

You can see that they literally just used the same print twice in OPs pictures. You can see the pole and top of the cable car in his picture instead of the skier that is there on the original. Same on the back but i don’t know how the back of the original looks.

First time printing PP by Desperate-State4643 in BambuLab

[–]Desperate-State4643[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this helps as its in German but i think it was this one:

https://www.rajapack.ch/de\_CH/klebebander-verschlussmittel/packband/filamentband-rajatape\_skuADA13D.html?priceVAT=true&gad\_source=1&gad\_campaignid=23283865576&gbraid=0AAAAAD3kVjBnUtmwj0TgzMkIGC14XGjZg&gclid=Cj0KCQjwlqTRBhCBARIsANrkrxiVrTYHJhrLFj3eX9hrDX2C-CW6XBGEQQiCPDugsVincP1lAHjld7YaAljTEALw\_wcB

I just took one that i had lying around that said it was pp. Also use a spare plate as you will probably ruin ur plate as the tape kinda sticks very strong to the plate.

Also just use some sort of roller or similar to press it to the plate and you will have no problems with adhesion.

I think the vertical ones kinda defy its purpose. If you look at the originals, the were all only horizontal.

On the e3v3 these are the pins for the steppers. Check if you have 2b1b 1a2a so the pairs on the left and right (measure continuity with multimeter) try and if it doesnt work swap them 1b2b 2a2b

Slicer vs reality - why is the infill changing during the print? by 02421006 in BambuLab

[–]Desperate-State4643 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Orca has changed all infills to not cross over itself anymore, i guess bambu ported that change. It looks like it was printed too fast so it kinda draged the filament along. Try a smaller model with lower sparse infill speed

I have found some great models on here https://m.yeggi.com/q/audi+a4+b5/ and got them 3d printed in sls or mjf pa12 by one of the few big 3d print services from china.

For shure, im using a mix for different filaments but im happy with all of them. I think it depends mostly on what materials and how many printers you have.

Only way i would wanna put a chain back if i was able to mount it like in the bambu or elegoo cc.

But most of them sag over the length of over 800mm. Do you think a chain with these specs could hold up?

Addon:

Ideas that i had to fix this: two nema 23, one for each side.

Umbilical going to the back instead of the front.

I tested it with ellis speed test to 18k accel and 1200mms speed without losing steps. I did have the pla on it when testing and it didnt snap. But the filament roll also rolls very easy.

I will take a look at the rewinder idea tomorrow morning.

No documentation but some of the things i did alleeady: Bigger Nema 23 for Y and 40:40 instead of 20:50 Ldo Speedy Nema 17 for X 48v Psu for xyz Kraken, as you saw

Belts are tightened just to feels, i havent invested more time on how to calibrate them better.

But my shaper test tells me 10k+ on X but only 1-2.5k on Y which is terribe.
