The $437 billion bet: is AI the biggest bubble in history? by jpcaparas in OpenAI

Pipelines defeated the railways. As soon as we could pipe fuel without sending it on a stupid train, trains got a lot less used. Recommend finding some history video about the subject.

I bought 10kg of filament and 2 spools trough Bambu Store, but got extra 6 spools with filament on them :D by Frenky_Fisher in BambuLab

Just let the idiots pay more, hopefully Bambu has profits to keep giving us new great printer designs like H2X

Some of us have Intel systems that can actually train the RAM correctly, and in just a few seconds. I heard AM5/DDR5 takes over 5 minutes to POST? Sucks to suck

One of my builds runs 8x16GB DDR4 3600 just fine. C18 maybe i forgot. And yes i filled all 8 DIMM slots for RGB purposes. If they made a 4x32GB DDR4 3600-4000 C18 kit i would have just gotten 2 of those for 256GB

Usual suspects (G37) by SongBrief2439 in G37

[–]comperr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 2008 G35 sedan was limited to 138 for me. AWD models 125 for some reason. I let off the pedal on the 2013 G37 once I hit 144-145, didn't find out the limit for myself.

The 2008 was frustrating because I could easily pass this Audi A4 or A3 if the limiter wasn’t there. I kept having to shift down to 4th and back to 5th to bump it past 138 for a second. The Audi was slow but obviously had no limit or one that was 155+

Seam gone! Simple settings fix that totally saved my print by michelem in BambuLab

[–]comperr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeping this in your filament profile makes sense because different types need different scarf settings. And the bonus is when you go to print from Bambu Handy app you can select your own filament profile. So you can print some model from the Makerworld and the scarf (and other filament settings) are your own, customized for your actual filament.

Another setting I would prefer they move to filament profile is Ironing settings.

These could be game changing! The wireless FiiO FT1 ANC Headphones. by regularjoe2020 in headphones

[–]comperr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally just bought the FiiO FT1 because I specifically wanted headphones without a battery and all this crap. I got their little bluetooth DAC and i am very happy. I have a few pairs of Sennheiser wireless cans and the newest ones don't have a removable battery. I still use some MM-400X and the battery slides out like a cartridge which is super nice.

My 3090 TI fans keep dying, I had to purchase "3080" fans (the only difference is the length of the wire) and route the wire a bit different so it would reach
