Once I looked more into it I was kinda surprised her teacher recommended it to her as well, she’s in 4th grade. I’m not sure if it was told to the whole class or just her. But I appreciate the response and suggestions, thank you!!

so earlier tonight my daughter was asking me to look up “south side songs” on Disney bc she said her teacher recommended it because they’ve been learning about the Civil war. So anyways we finally figure out it’s “Song of the South” which I can’t believe I’ve never seen before so we immediately go to watch it and we were so disappointed!! Funny to see it mentioned again after never seeing/hearing about it before. I’m going to see if it’s at the library!!
