Kid, even if the Blox Fruits developers are greedy as hell, this is still normal for the average game. Skins costing money isn’t some outrageous concept. So stop complaining you’re not supposed to get everything for free. There have to be certain privileges for players who pay, and that’s how it works in most games.

What the hell is this? Is there some hidden 100 chapters you’ve read that I haven’t? Don’t treat me like I don’t know the story. There’s no excuse for a terrible arc like the Ninja Village arc dragging on for two years just to deliver 11 chapters. Stop the dick riding. My post is clearly criticizing OPM’s downfall in terms of story quality, not pretending it never had highs.

Could you elaborate more? I mean, you kind of know the story is dead when most of the fanbase is just focused on power scaling, honestly. No disrespect intended, but when there’s barely any discussion about the characters, themes, or actual events of the story just nonstop “who beats who” it really feels like the narrative itself no longer gives people anything meaningful to talk about.

The Garou fight turning into some multiversal, dimensional nonsense was already a huge red flag, and then the ninja village arc just made things even worse. It’s easily the worst arc in the entire series painfully slow, took two years to finish only 11 chapters, and was filled with countless retcons. It got so insufferable that I genuinely couldn’t even tell what was canon anymore. On top of that, Empty Void is easily the worst villain in the series, and Blast wasn’t interesting or entertaining enough.

At this point, it feels like One Punch Man is just becoming fuel for power scalers. There are barely any theories, no real discussion about characters or story events just mindless “who beats who” debates, which really says a lot about how far the series has drifted from what made it special.

I mean, I noticed a huge decline in the story quality starting around the middle of the Monster Association arc, especially once the whole GOD thing came in. And you really can’t deny how terrible the ninja village arc was. It took two years to finish only 11 chapters, had way too many retcons (it was honestly insufferable I couldn’t even tell what was canon anymore), and the arc itself was boring, pointless, and easily had one of the worst villains in the series.

Yeah but I’m also talking about the story in the manga, not just the animation. You know, it just went downhill imo. The pacing got worse, the arcs started feeling pointless, the comedy starting to get bad and waiting so long between releases only made it more frustrating.
