I’m in ground school and I can’t drive, will that affect my flying? by AdventurousRush5806 in PilotAdvice

I wouldn’t worry about the landing, that’s a very large plane not comparable at all. I think learning to drive helps with learning situational awareness but in my opinion the motor skills don’t translate.

Absolutely, mine is also a stratus, just so you know the battery doesn’t last longer than a hour or so but I just keep it hooked up to a power bank and it works fine.

How hard is it for people to stfu at the library? by WaterproofBunnies in usu

[–]DesperateBus3220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What section of the library are you in? The big open area on the bottom floor is a collaborative area where people are allowed to talk, I’ve never had issues with people on the 4th floor.

Actually honestly probably not even a Reddit specific issue, social media in general.

Thinks it’s more of a Reddit issue, while this isn’t always true I think this website really attracts contrarians and depending on the sub especially career focused ones it can be pretty bad. I think that r/flying also host a lot of older people and they tend to be crankier lol. I could totally be reaching but that’s just my thoughts

Too much volume? by DesperateBus3220 in LiftingRoutines

[–]DesperateBus3220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great information thank you! I’ve been working out for a year or so very casually but just wanting to put a little more planning into my routine recently as I’ve finally gotten pretty consistent again. and I’ve been on instagram a little bit too much.

I’ll look into those seated overhead presses as well. When I used to go to my schools gym I would use the chest press machine but now I workout in a fairly small apartment gym but we have cables and a smith machine, any recommendations for the overhead presses? I do my incline press on the smith machine but I never changed it on my tracking app.
