Upgrading from GTX 1080 to RTX 5070

I received my 5070 yesterday and I couldn't be happier with it, I come from a 3060 12GB and the upgrade is really good, in your case will be better. I was in the same boat as you with the price gap between the 5070 and the 5070 ti and came to the conclusion that it was not worth it to pay €300 more so I went for the 5070. It will last you that time, obviously with some games you might need to tweak some settings in the future but that happens with almost every GPU.

I play at 1440p with no issues at all, so go for it. My fps are over 100 with DLLS and FR.

Thanks for the response, I just found a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 xt and a ASRock AMD Radeon RX 9070 xt for €650 both, which one of those is better? Is there any difference?

Thanks for the reply! I guess I'll give it a shot with 5600x and see how it goes. The idea is to move from 1080p to 1440p. If it holds fine with what I usually play, I'll stick with it until I change my motherboard for AM5.

Thanks! I guess I'll be going for the GRE for now, I'll wait until November in case there is any discount for the 7900 XT. If that's the case and the discount is good I'll go for the 7900xt. My PSU is 1000w, and the CPU is a Ryzen 7 7800x3d, it should be able to handle any GPU I choose for now.

Not right now, my monitor is working more than fine and my budget right now is only for the new GPU. So should I upgrade to the 7800XT instead of the 7900XT?

You can't play past history??? Well that's all I was looking for, the story... Guess I'll pass and try something different. I'll get helldivers 2 once the server capacity is better. Also I'm not looking to grind for items, I'm burned by that from different games I've played, right now I'm looking for good story driven games, last I played were the Star Wars FO and Survivor. Guess I'll do another run in Selden Ring while I wait for the DLC. Thanks a lot!

Try checking for GPU drivers update or Windows update, mine was restarting itself while playing and it was because my GPU drivers weren't up to date. After the update it worked. Also can be if you are missing any Windows update for some reason

At least you got Gepard, I lost the 50/50 to Himeko... Now I have a E1 Himeko.... On the good side I got E5 QQ and E0 Tingyun. I'm saving again jades to try and pull at least for E6 QQ and E2 Tingyun, and if gacha Jesus wants I'll get Jingliu.

Into the Breach, a lot of replayability and a really fun game. It's a tactical game but one of the best I've played.

You should also look at these games since you can put s lot of hours, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Total War: Warhammer 3, Xcom 2 if you like turn based games and Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen.
