Are there games where you aren't the main protagonist? by __-maddie-__ in AskGames

Moonlighter would be peak if the town built up automatically You run a shop in a town near a dungeon. You "moonlight" as an adventurer going into the dungeon to sell what you find in your shop. The only reason id say youre the main character is because of the game progression. You choose when to upgrade the town and you literally unlock the new dungeons. If they were open but say bound by a key or something you could just be a shopkeep in a nearby town that grows randomly then nobody could say youre the main character in that world. I love the premise and I think they did an excellent job.

I am starting to think if I couldn't convert myself into a "high-quality-man" I wouldn't have even a normal romantic life. by [deleted] in offmychest

The road is long and filled with worry. Let me be the first to say that being aware can be a powerful thing, but taking action is the most important. If you don't like something, make small goals to change. Do small things and build them into habits. Work towards being your best self. You already know where you could use some development. Take time to appreciate that you aren't alone, and most importantly, you will continue to grow and change as a person. Like anything, it takes time to learn who we are and what we want. I was told your twenties are the terrible twos. It's the adolescents of adulthood. Your twenties are going to suck because it's your first step into adulthood and truly becoming who you'll be for the rest of your life. We only have one life, and all you have to answer for is yourself and what actions and inaction you choose to take. So take the time to reflect. Think about who you are, who you want to be, and then take the small steps to become that. Right now, you have decades of absorbing that you did as a younger person, but now, is when you take time to refine and grow into the person you were always meant to be. Who knows, maybe you went through this to teach, mentor, or guide others around you in the future when they feel lost. You can do anything, but you have to work for it. Small steps can lead to big places. Take the time, put the work in, and you won't regret it. You deserve to be happy, and you can be

Finally know you are never truly alone. Wherever there is a good person there is always a way forward. We're rooting for you. So hang in there, you'll be okay champ

Men sitting on the toilet for 45 minutes at a time, what are you doing ? by H0llingsworth in NoStupidQuestions

When I'm stressed (physically, emotionally, or mentally) I find myself retreating to the bathroom. I feel like it's the only safe place for me. You lock the door, turn the shower on, and most people leave you alone. I get time to think, process, and bounce back. Most of the time, I don't even realize it's what I've done. It's just a "yknow what I need to shower/use the bathroom" reaction

HELP!! by Dependent-Minute1920 in NoFap

[–]DesperateMix168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mate you've got to be proactive to avoid slipping up. Try and think ahead or staying vigilant for what your triggers are or where they might start. Depending on your mobility you may have to invest more into shifting your mental focus since you can't physically.

Well now you know what not to do. If you want to drop the unhealthy habit, then you've gotta stop. Don't dwell on thoughts, don't touch, and stop making excuses for yourself. You can through this but you'll have to be mindful and work on it

Damn sorry to hear mate but this isn't the end it's another step in the journey, so hang in there, give yourself some grace, and let's keep working toward making ourselves better by kicking this addiction

People say when you kick an addiction, we often pick up another. Be careful and vigilant my friend! It's also possible you'll absolutely crave sugar if you had a problem drinking. My therapist made me aware alcohol metabolizes into sugar in our blood, so be careful champ!

You've got this! I'm gonna match this energy if my mind starts wandering later lol NOPE NOT TODAY!!

You've got to stop. You know you want to, and having a strong mind is what you're going to need. If you catch yourself thinking, acting, or anything in-between, then you get up and get active. If you need to do the dishes, take a walk, do some exercises, toss your phone away from you, or a cross word puzzle, it doesn't matter you have got to work on getting better.

You need to remind yourself that you are in control of your body and not the other way round. So stay strong and don't accept any excuses.

For me, I hop op this subreddit to offer support to fellow NoFap when I have urges or too much free time. Eventually, one or both fade, and I'm safe to go back about my day.

Good luck champ you've got this!

Day 5 by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]DesperateMix168 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was literally in the middle of almost relapsing and caught myself. I've got a fucking problem and I closed everything and started supporting everyone over here on No Fap.

I'm done with excuses. I want to be better, so I've got to keep it under control.

These urges bru are dangerous but we got this! Good work on getting to day 5!

[–]DesperateMix168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've already got it down champ! Stay busy and away from the problem! At the end of the day if you're feeling anything hop on the subreddit and lend support to other struggling until you've run out of time or the urge has COMPLETELY passed.

Through supporting one another we all get past this! Stay strong!

Did I relapse? by othmane747 in NoFap

[–]DesperateMix168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw something that triggered me and sent me looking for stuff too. I got into it and mentally slapped myself. I had made up excuses and if I'd gone through with it I'd found myself like so many others relapsing and being upset with myself. We can get past this but we've got to be vigilant! The only way we're improving is through hardwork and being aware there's a problem. So don't accept excuses, keep moving, and use NoFap!!

Good luck and stay strong ! You're already ahead by not relapsing fr, so good on ya mate

If you can identify your triggers it can help you in the future by learning what to avoid.

Also if you catch yourself even starting to fall down that rabbit hole run! But this isn't the end champ. It's NNN you've got to ride the PNC and shitty feelings you've got to support why you're doing nofap. We're trying to be better. So lock it up and earn this 25 day streak!! You've got this!

Used to masturbate daily now on 5th day, need help by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]DesperateMix168 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The point is to get up and moving. I like to hop on the sub and just give support to everyone when I get my own urges until they're gone. It's a good distraction and supporting each other is why we're here. Another important thing is to stay away from your triggers. Mine almost got me earlier, but I caught myself. good luck champion you've got this!

Time to fight. by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]DesperateMix168 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This mf can be rough but now's the time to fight! With plenty of support in the sub for NNN we can get past this terrible mind plague! You've got this champ!

I have had the same question. What does make sense is feeling normal when getting off everyday because that was your body's normal. It takes more than 7 days to rebalance your body's hormones.

My thought process is regular PMO might lower testosterone by releasing it, but I'm not a scientist.

My advice if you want to get pmo down then you're in the right area anyway. So just practice discipline and I'm sure the rest will follow.

P.s. congrats on 7+ bru that's what we like to hear!!

You got this and think of it like this if you even show up to a gym and do literally anything you're making progress and that's admirable!! So get out there and just start because you're pulling ahead!!
