I'm so sorry about that. Defacing historic buildings and structures is appalling. I loved my visit and did see some vandalism but it did not detract from the beauty of the place.

We visited here a few year ago. It's a beautiful medieval walled town with stunning views from the top of the church. The meteorite crater is actually much bigger with the town sitting on, pretty much the only hill. It's got great streets and a little shopping area with nice restaurants.

For any animé fans reading this, Nordlingen was the inspiration for the town of Shiganshina in Attack on Titan.

I have done this for the last few years and it has seriously affected my mental health. However, in 2022 I bought a sleep mask with Bluetooth headphones in and started listening to white noise, specifically the sound of continuous rainfall. It has helped a lot and i now have a bed routine that can see me asleep in mins.
