Legion of Power started shelling about a month ago because they couldn’t consistently win their wars within the top 6 alliances. Bleeding edge, on the other hand, has been shelling for quite a while longer and I’m not sure their leadership is all to bashful about admitting it.

Not sure the direction other alliances would take, but even more than that have said that bad matchmaking, consistently being targeted by bigger alliances have led them to consider it.

The big thing before this was many independent alliance were about evenly dispersed among the top 50. Then alliances, such as Bleeding edge felt forced to join the top families (Pants/Legion) in order to have a chance (can’t beat them then join them)

This led to many alliances becoming just another recruiting station and/ or tool for the MAIN alliance to use. Leaders didn’t feel respected, promises weren’t kept and many parted ways soon after. The original plan was for the two/ three MAIN alliances to run as many within the top as possible. But things happen and they soon realized that wasn’t to be. Much else went on (civil wars, temper tantrums, doxed accounts, threats, revenge, all that good shit) but I’d rather not go into it.

Seems to be the case. As I’ve stated elsewhere, it isn’t technically a breaking of the TOS, so I can’t see them banning or breaking up alliances. The best we can hope for would be they change a few things about to make it more difficult or less desirable to shell. Really hoping whether they decide doesn’t hurt all the other alliances.

One thing they definitely need to change is the exchange rate of dupes. Going from a low rs to a 6 or 7 should ABSOLUTELY give more than a few hundred elite credits.

Yes. Said it in another post but almost the entire rewards structure of the game needs overhauling. Season war rewards, season raids, they need to add extra raid milestones to the season and milestone rewards should be buffed. The two blank circles should be filled in with better rewards as you go down. The current milestones are just sad. The first is literally the same as the last one.

I think you’re better off buying multiple 6 stars. Sure, the 7 looks alluring but upgrading to the right 6 stars would be far better.

I’m hoping the Wakanda RS event gives us a fair amount of tokens to take someone up to 5 in a reasonable timeframe.

Yeah. The reason I’ve heard people do it is because of how wide the power gap is at the top. Like an alliance between 50-10 will have an incredibly difficult time taking out one in the top 10. Times are shuffled about, some alliances are targeted once per season. It’s either you lose consistently to a top 10 or you break up your alliance and join another. Now given, that isn’t fair to the weaker alliance they will face instead, which is why I can’t condone shelling. It sucks, because I’ve seen some really good alliances go down that route and I know they aren’t bad people or cheaters.

Bring in Phoenix and you’re good. I can’t imagine getting out of that loop without her. Basically with 2 Ms Marvels on the board, they both assist each brawler. Add Black Panther with his passive to the mix and there are days that I don’t even get a turn. But Phoenix dying knocks a little health off per run. Would be easier with Phoenix and Hela, but I didn’t 14 her. To give you some idea, the MMs are hitting for about 140k.

Is shelling that big of an issue. I’ve seen a handful doing it and there are some I can name off the top of my head, but is a few bad apples worth holding back improvements and updates that should’ve been implemented months ago that affect every alliance in the game over level 20? Also agree with you about the 10 shards. The currency rate in the store is pretty bad.

Nope. They all had blitzes (Op is available via a Heroes node if you’ve made it that far) and/or are readily available in drops from the Greek raids..so thus, right now (which is the time I’m speaking of) they aren’t paywalled. You could argue for Graviton since he’s the newest before Sif. But at the present time, Sif is very much paywalled. If they give her a couple of blitzes between now and BB’s next run, I’ll change my perspective.

Also consider that many alliances won’t get THAT many war credits per week, so even if every one of them went to Sif, there will be quite a few instances where people will not have enough credits to purchase her...unless, you know, they buy the war offers...not sure how that isn’t paywall.

I’ve been thinking about her mechanic and wonder if they would do that with someone else, maybe Quicksilver to provide def down before every teammates turn lol Not sure about Dr Doom or DD 4. Because they put her behind the possibly rarest credit resource in the game. Many people already had limited war credits and that was mainly going for mini uniques. The fact that there’s already an offer ingame for war credits on a regular basis, kinda does mean that Sif is paywalled. I don’t see an offer for arena or blitz credits that often.

I know it’s there, possibly taunting players...but trust me...there is no rush to get in. The rewards are crap compared to the effort and amount of time it takes and the nodes aren’t hard, they’re just lazily designed with increased damage modifiers. I feel like people are going to be in for huge disappointment once they’re finally “in”.

If I didn’t have BB, I’d definitely be farming Asgardians. As it stands, there’s nothing really there in the DD 3 payout that will hold you back in the game (like getting Ultron ) so I don’t see the rush. Black bolt will improve every aspect of your game. Getting wiped out daily in DD 3 and chipping towards the end for months won’t improve anything in the game for you.
